I found where the plastic cog goes. It is enclosed in the support arm. As MiamiGT350 said, you have to take the arm off and pry open the rear housing (red arrow in photo) to fit. The small cog sits in the arm's track. Beats me how it came out in the first place.
I found brake bite differed from car to car when I was trying demos. The Powestop for me are not overly touchy. As for the actual size I am unsure but do not remember any glaring size difference.
Last time I changed my cabin air filter on my '18 this plastic cog dropped to the floor. I suspect it may be for a soft open/close but cannot work out where it fits. Can anyone help out.
What snake bite said. I have the DBA 5000 T3 all round and tried the DBA Extreme pads but quickly ditched them for the Power Stop Z26. The Extremes are no better than the OEM as far as dust goes.
Yes they all came with the sound tube. I didn't remove mine but I did put an on/off valve in line so that I could try it both ways. Mostly left turned on. Wrong answer. Go to the back of the queue.
When I had HGP quarter glasses fitted the installers used a wire to pull along the window seal to remove. I have included some pictures of mine so you have an idea of what's in store if you do a full removal. I think the hammer idea is not the ideal method.
I currently have 4 of 5 Spurs items on my S550. I was interested in these toggles but like others I had a legitimate question which I asked on their webpage, not on this forum. I was left unanswered. Even though the "preorder" was at a reduced price the outlay was still a significant investment...
I have had interest in these but before putting my money down I messaged 5 spurs several days ago regarding their intentions of providing video install directions. They have chosen to not reply so I am reluctant to commit.
I note that they have also been noticibly absent from this whole...
And Roush have confirmed that the honeycomb is not detachable. Looks like a masking job if I went with them. Leave the honeycomb gloss black and paint the rest body colour.
Does anyone know if the mesh section can be removed from the vent body for painting. I did this on my Air Design hood vents and of course it made painting a lot easier. I would leave the mesh black and the vent body matched to my orange fury.
Two things with this utube. 1. He keeps on refering to organic matter when he is talking about inorganic sand and grit.
2. He puts a grit guard in his wash bucket. I was under the impression that when rinseless washing you do not put used rags back into the bucket but you have clean rags...
When I lived in the burbs I had never considered rinseless but where I live now I rely on rain water. During winter there is just not enough of that to keep the tanks full. To top that off I do not as yet have taps in or around my shed where I wash my car. So rinseless has been a boon for a...
