Correct, but less than 1% of the hourly wage work force are on minimum wage. Most hourly positions are above that. Might wanna get a second job or a side hustle like waxing cars.
Kentucky boomers screwed the pension program. There's no money in it and to compensate, new teachers must work longer, pay more, and recieve less. Government taking control of social security doesn't work and it is the young who suffer.
But the health care aspect was not free. Now it is and is expanding. They could get therapy and other necessities they did not have access before.
You keep putting money ahead of human life. How about we get rid of Social Security, Medicade/Medicare, FICA, etc? Arizona shouldn't even pay into FICA.
How is it giving it away if they are working? They can change. People change all the time. If they wanna work at McDonalds and do drugs, fine. At least the free needles and housing could keep it away from kids.
We just flat out disagree. Crime happens because of opportunity. If you redline and give misunderstood people a chance at life, they wouldn't commit crimes. Look at Sweden. The rehabilitate their criminals, not punish them. Our system is corrupt.
People being more disgusting now than ever is a red herring and also factually wrong. But if people had housing, they'd be better off and so would the community because crime would also be lower.
