Don't get me wrong, I would love for it to cost 10k less (or 30k since I'll pay $86k). If I had your options, 5k difference would be tiny nuisance, really. Isn't it like equivalent of 1 paycheck for most people in USA? Maybe it'd play bigger role if I was buying the car for just few years, the...
Makes one wonder why real inflation doesn't increase when you flood the market with 20% more dollars? Nice article.
But inflation is just one factor. They strive for more profit each year. Prices of components or transport go up. Price of labour goes up.
Where did you get 25% annual price...
Maybe printing of those trillions of dollars has something to do with XX% rise of price from 2018 to 2021 too. Base MSRP is $52,720 with destination charges $1,195 = total $53,915. Compare the price to current GT PP1 with Magneride and active valve exhaust (not Premium) which is 48k. With...
No-one prevents you to shift manually with automatic and have great driving experience. This probably depends most on how often/where you'll be driving. Occasional summer weekend trip or going to track often screams for manual, driving through city or in regular high traffic on main roads with 2...
Here's M1211 in the dealer's video:
Wonder if I'll have M1136 as says the order, but probably not when it was supposed to be built just this week and these are already at the dealer's.
If there's one good thing around here, it's the availability of 100 octane fuels. I have a gas station with it just 10 km away in a city and my Mach 1 won't get any other sustenance. I plan to take it to engine brake in summer to know the real power of EU model with proper fuel.
It should add to the price you pay, but I'm not sure if it's listed in the sticker, in another thread there were some people who didn't have it there either. Someone who ordered HP would have to confirm.
MSRP for Mach 1 Premium with Elite Package, Appearance package, Recaros, Nav and optional...
You get what you pay for. HP is optional and additional 3500$, that's rather hard to miss. I found several articles from 2020-10-21 mentioning this price of HP so it was known back then.
73k sold Mustangs in 2019, 61k in 2020. If they sell 5-6k x 2 years it will be rare enough. USA is a big country. And here in Europe it'll be super rare (thanks EU...). They didn't specify a fixed number so expecting 1-2k cars only would be silly. 4k for USA and 2k for the rest of the world...
The orders before January couldn't have the handling package, any dealer must have known that. Also HP cars production started only this month due to weather conditions and Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres. These things weren't a secret. The customer being mislead in his order could've been by dealer's...
The Build & Price has the dimensions wrong for these optional wheels (they had wrong image for HP wheels in first days too so it probably remained from then). Check the tyre sizes, if you have 255/275-40 R19, then the wheels are 9.5" and 10", same as the standard 5-spoke ones (both with Michelin...
Are you sure about that?
Order guide says 19” X 9.5” (F) 19” X 10” (R) Magnetic-painted Aluminum Wheel for 64S wheels which are the optional wheels that you have, with tyres 255/40 front and 275/40 rear.
