What I did notice was the 2.8 0-60 as a performance benchmark for the car. That's not that fast these days.
Because other than the "cost" of the electric fan motor, it's the most efficient (including MPGs) to heat the vehicle. It's literally heat energy that would otherwise be wasted.
Then EVs run their heaters, their range drops dramatically. It's a huge drain.

Your car also has EPAS, which is a very sophisticated electrically assisted steering rack. It filters out lots of road irregularities, shaking/vibration, but is also a bit lack in feed-back through the steering wheel.

Replacing an engine isn't rock science. Any dealership can do it.
I'd look for the local dealership that sells a lot of Mustangs, and let them handle it.
