I asked why no big name tuners will tune for FF and this is the response I got.
"As far as the flex fuel tune and people not wanting to- it is fairly new technology so if some tuners or shops aren't comfortable or familiar with it they will not steer you in that direction. However, if and when...
It is BMR (Black Market Racing). I contacted them asked them if they would do a FF tune with the Roush Blower and they said sure. All I need is the pump. I mentioned that none of the big name tuners will tune it for FF and they said its just new technology.
I think I will ask them additional...
In talks to get my car tuned for Flex Fuel, will not run an E85r tune. Will probably fill it with E54 or E85 most of the time.
The shop is saying all I need is a DW440 drop in pump to run Flex Fuel. What do you guys think about this?
When I was complaining about heatsoak with the P1 kit on my 2018 I told Roush that I was running DR's at the track. Sent them logs and everything with it closing the TB at 160 degrees. They mentioned the tires but didn't raise an issue. Sent the dealer the newer LTR overnight and flashed it...
DR's were probably the biggest improvement on the street for me, but damn, cradle lockouts and some suspension mods REALLY help at the strip. The radials got rid of the wheel hop mostly but the other stuff locked it down.
Last car had close to 100 launches at the strip with DR's and probably 50 on the stret. Traded it at 14k miles.. New one has probably 20 or more on the street and at least 30 on the strip :) Less than 1600 miles on the new one.
Drag radials are the single best upgrade you could do probably...
I used to have this same setup on my 2018. All I can say is this:
MAKE SURE YOU THREADLOCK ALL OF THE LITTLE SCREWS ON THE CARBON FIBER TIPS!!!!!
I almost lost 2 of mine because a bunch of the screws rattled out.
Other than that, I LOVED the sound and miss it. The Active Exhaust on my 2019...
Am I wrong? Why would the graph not cross at 5252 other than a scaling issue? I would assume HP is the number the graph is showing correctly per the RPM.
Most things that are scaled, show the scale factor for all elements. I don't see this in the OP or Nawsad's graphs.
Thats why I am asking.. TQ and HP are related and should cross at 5,250RPM. No matter what gear you dyno in. Unless there is some weird scaling going on in your graph.
Roush Stage 2. 2019 GT. Factory Roush tune.
Run 2 is in 6th gear and the tires were slipping on the rollers. Runs 1 & 3...
