Performance Pack 2 for daily driver????

I never planned to mod my 2015, but here we are lol. The car pulled me in.

Performance Pack 2 for daily driver????

    Fair enough! Wise thinking.

Performance Pack 2 for daily driver????

IMO this might not be the car for you. The Cup 2 tires are track tires. They aren't meant for the street, even though they can be used as such. Just realize in colder and/or wet weather you're going to have trouble. Also wide sticky tires lead to increased tramlining, which can lead to a busier...

Performance Pack 2 for daily driver????

It's not so much a "track suspension" in my opinion even though it may be marketed as such. My question is, if it just feels OK why are you buying it? I wouldn't buy a car I didn't drive and like.

Performance Pack 2 for daily driver????

They are. After driving on 305 RE71R and 255 BFG Sport Comp 2 AS, the Michelins are like riding on a cloud in comparison.

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

That is not a bad way to do it. Pretty smart, because it takes drone out of the equation.

    Actually sounds like you are.

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in rain/wet surface losing control? Keep or switch?

I completely lost traction in the wet (no standing water) on a very deliberate 2nd gear pull with my 305 RE71R which are supposedly very good in the wet as long as there's no standing water. I suspect it may be due to oils from other cars on the road that I couldn't see. Be careful in the wet...

Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in rain/wet surface losing control? Keep or switch?

Yeah, you need to be aware of conditions and what the car can and cannot do. It's a machine in real-world conditions. There are clear limitations. When you know what those are you are less tempted to test them.

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

Now that's an interesting combination! I bet it sounds fantastic. There's something about the double X pipe I tell you.

    That's kind of disappointing, Ken.

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

I can see that opinions vary widely on this subject. I think my main point/opinion is that it's worth paying the premium price for a "refined" exhaust. But everyone has different tastes on how it should sound. There is no right answer or one-size-fits-all kind of mentality. I'm just stating my...

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

I can admit to not knowing what drone really was. First impressions of the Gibson I didn't notice it.

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

Yeah, there's a huge difference between just loud and nice and loud. I discovered that actually a ton of engineering goes into the premium systems. Having looked at a cross section of the internals of the Corsa muffler it's apparent. I also am a believer in a full engineered system. You can...

Exhaust - Go cheap or pony up the cash (Corsa Sport)

I see a ton of exhaust threads and recommendations out there. Some people go the inexpensive route, some people pay a hefty price premium for the name brand or add'l features such as active exhaust. When I started out I decided I wanted a louder exhaust setup. The OEM exhaust on the 15-17 GT...

If its going to see the track, you'll want at least -2 up front imo.

I want more torque starting from 2000 RPM (want it to feel like 4k) what're my options?

E85 tune will help with that. Don't focus so much on dyno gains. The additional response E85 tune can give will probably satisfy you more than LTH. More "lively" response - E85 tune will do just that.

    Tune recommendations

Lund has been great for me. I've had hundreds of emails with them back and forth. They've even done a couple changes for me free of charge outside of the revision window. Runs great. I could never go back to the stock tune where it didn't even feel like 435 hp. Now with the tune and a few minor...

Looking for Tuning Suggestions / Experience

IAT isn't really a concern on a track. Dragstrip maybe. But on a track fresh air is flowing constantly at speed into the airbox. There's certainly more power to be made over the stock airbox.
