If you don’t track your car you don’t need the improvement, weight reduction and slightly better fade resistance , that 2 pieces rotor bring
Since you will never feel the improvement, even with aggressive street driving, it would only be cosmetic in your situation
Performance come from brake...
You did a great job
It is true that liability insurance, usually 5 million is required by the various tracks, is more expensive if there is a race group
Meaning if you have 3 hpde groups and i race group, the racing premium will be applied to the whole event
Ford Is 100% wrong to state that...
Surprising how different my experience is, i have raced, yes, with a scca national comp license, and done hpde for over 30 years, have owned an race and hpde club in California for almost 20 years and i don’t know of a single club , at least in California, that requires points by in the advanced...
Hopefully the arbitrator will not look for the definition of racing because there are more than 1
Look at # 2
Bottom line there is nothing clear cut or black and white in this situation
Can really go either way
Can you repeat after me :
All ford performance parts are aftermarket parts
Ford performance parts are not genuine ford parts
So I guess that because you’re wrong on your first point,,you’re also wrong on you second point
A few minutes of research would have spared you this embarrassing moment 😂
Sorry but you don’t know what you’re talking about regarding ford performance parts
I bought an installed a pp2 from them and as you can see from the attached ford performance carry their own warranty, its not the ford manufacturer warranty
As a matter of facts my engine blew and there was a...
Ford dealerships are independently owned and sell a bunch of crap that has nothing to do with Ford
Same issue with ford racing/performance parts. Ford consider them to be an independent, aftermarket company even if they own it. They provide their own and separate warranty on products that they sell
As much that i want the op to winn, i have serious doubts because the extended warranty is with an aftermarket company that had his own verbiage in the contract that was signed by the op
It is therefore a contractual agreement and all the stuff about how ford advertised the car is pretty much...
I didn’t say “expensive “ , i said that you pay “more” ( than regular) for no tangible benefits
If course it’s fine, so would be regular oil
You’re getting none of the advantages of full synthetic so basically you’re paying more for an oil that has the same properties than a good regular oil...
You’re 100% right regarding well know oils meeting specs but i don’t get the “blend” part.
you pay more for no credible advantages over “regular “ oil. On top of that there is no minimum legal percentage of synthetic required to be able to call it “Synthetic blend”
You could have 99% regular...
Disagree, most shops will not install parts that you bring in… Reasons? : $ of course
They have a great mark up in parts, It’s an important profit center for any shop and they would be giving that up of with parts you bring in. Business 101
So basically ignore the problem and the problem go away ? Very smart strategy.
To a point the noise limit, as long that it is a reasonable one, has no impact on how much fun you can have racing or open tracking a vehicle
Loud pipes don’t save lives, they simply annoy a lot of people
I wish you guys would do a better job at disparaging and putting down California because obviously it’s not working since over 1/2 of the license plates at boring and ugly places such as Big Sur, Yosemite, etc, are from our of state. A lot of floridians plates for sure
Don’t come to California...
