The only update was the in the steering, and that there were new colors exclusive to 2020.
Generally, 2020's go for higher than than the previous years as it's also the final model year.
Hard to comp your car with those miles. Most 2020 R's are going for around 90k at auction, but there are plenty of dealers selling theirs for over 100k. But none of them have those kind of miles. But also none of those cars are coming with an extra carbon wheel.
I wouldn't take anything less...
The car was modified. It had a roll bar + racing harness installed along with a tow hook. Most people who are buying Heritage R's with low mileage are buying for long term investments or a quick flip. They want the car to be 100 percent original form. Not a great idea by the seller to put it up...
Any updates on this? Does this only work on 2019 and 2020 MY? Also those who did this last year how is it going? Any issues?
Thinking of trying this tomorrow.
*EDIT*
Tried this today. Worked like a cham, no issues. All drive modes working. SO nice to finally hear a true cold start and not...
All dealers competing to get the car.
Pretty good buy at that price considering this was a 1 year color and only 29 made. The Oxford White R that sold a few weeks ago also went for 96k hammer. Oxford White was the 2nd most poplular color for the R over the 6 year model run. So far color rarity...
Yea it's going to take a while for Base cars to take off. But at the end of the day in the hands of a hardcore collector who's not going to drive the car much, or at all, having AC doesn't really matter.
Something to also factor in in regards to 350R total production numbers and future value. It is of some peoples opinion that the total build total of 3,611 is too high and therefore will never be collectable. Here are a couple counters to that.
#1. There are other cars with similar build totals...
Man I love that spec.
Hate to see the dealers buying and flipping these cars. At least with a collector there is a chance they will drive the car some.
With a 95k bid that places the total price to 100k with fees. I don't understand what dealers are trying to accomplish by trying to flip it...
Ford going hybrid for the 8th Gen is a good possibility. But IMO, the only thing that will prevent the 6th Gen GT350R from taking off in value is if they bring out a 7th Gen GT350 or a new FPC engine.
As it stands, I don't think either will happen.
IF the 6th Gen GT350R ends up being the last...
The market has softened a little for sure. A lot of R's are not meeting the reserve. But this isn't an exclusive thing either.
The peak market for 2020 R's was in the fall of 2021. A few cars with low mileage sold for 110 - 112k. This all white R just sold for $100,800. So not that far off...
I don't get how these bidders let the car go over a couple grand. Someone is willing to pay 95k for the car but not 97k? Must not have wanted it that bad... so what is the point of bidding in the first place?
Sold in May of 2021 though. A Heritage R in the same month sold for 88k. Prices on these cars especially the 2020's were still relatively low at that time.
Final bid was 95k. Didn't meet reserve. Mecum had no clue what they were doing with this car. Online page is terrible. Then when it crossed the block they announced it was a 1 of 2 with stripes lol. I wish. It also went almost last didn't seem many people were left there

This is crossing the block in Indy later today. Not much info on the page so it must have been a late entry. This is the first Iconic Silver GT350R that has ever came up for auction. Same spec as mine. Shelbys haven't been selling that...
