Hang in there, don’t give up. No question your life path has been altered, but you’re here.
If your physical changes make the car difficult to drive look into hand controls for the pedal operations. There are 2 groups racing in the Lemons series, Ranger Road, and Battlescarred Motorsports. They...
I have the B&O and it works fine. It’s very difficult to get off, but clips in just fine. (Takes s little bit of effort but so far have been able to take it on and off without issue.)
Compared to the times listed on the S550 track list here, it’s about 2 sec off the pace…..I was happy for my first time driving the track, but know I’m losing time in a couple places.
If you do come down next year, let me know in advance and I’ll se if I can make it work to run with you.
It’s a nice facility, and of course the Monterey area is worth a visit for sure. I’m lucky I have family there and it’s only 90 min from where I live. It was nice to have a crash pad for the night so I didn’t have to wake up super early.
Fog is always an issue there late summer/fall, but the...
Great day with HOD, at Laguna. First time driving this track. It’s a really fun track, I can see why it’s so iconic. Good elevation changes, some really fun high speed turns. Corkscrew is very cool.
Managed a best of 1:48.19. It’s a respectable number for my first time at the track, but I know...
Cadi is in a different group so didn’t see him run. I had a little dance through the gravel in turn 5 when I got a little cocky. Car seems good. Run 2 in about half hour.
Out at Laguna with HOD today….we’re in a fog delay. 🤦‍♂️
But some very cool Mustangs here, awesome Focus RS, and some dude with a Ferrari. (Oh and the typical Porsche overload.)
That’s a very region specific question. What are they going for in your area? Do the missing parts give, you leverage in negotiations or are is the market for HP Mach 1’s so scarce the seller can hold potential buyers hostage to his price?
I put them on the back of my helmet.
It’s a personal choice, and if you like them do it and F’ whatever people think. When others make the payment on your car, they can call the shots, until then it doesn’t matter what others think.
And I agree with the other posts, if you drove the track, it...
Spent be day cleaning it up after last weeks track day. What a mess. Lots of tire rubber streaks everywhere, few new rock chips 🤦‍♂️. But about 3 hours work and she’s cleaned up and ready to go do another track day in 2 weeks.
Have to say, used this stuff to get the rubber off, and it was...
Yeah I didn’t mean to be brother bummer suggesting a cut out was the solution, it was just the first thing that sprang to mind.
Totally sucks dude, hope whatever repair is needed goes smoothly.
I’m guessing both can be correct. Vorshlag’s design is stand alone and works, as they have shown with their testing.
@GTP has designed his to specifically work with the deflectors and thus also works.
I’m guessing a mix and match approach could cause issues.
That’s an interesting statement by Vorshlag. I’m no engineer and have not done any of the testing they have, so I’m not in a position to say if they are correct or not.
I do know @GTP did some testing and observed lowered temperatures.
