not what I was told when emailing with them.
And on another thread Wengard rep said it's not recommended but I do it on my car with no issues
It kills me with how vague their responses are when trying to communicate with them. Can't take it...lol
I asked Wengard on here and on email and one said they don't recommend running flex all the time and other said they do so I'm a little skeptical about those kind of responses. I have not heard anybody's real world experience running a Wengard Flex tune all the time.
Only reason I was...
Same here, Livernois Flex Tune for over a year and it runs great. Just drive it easy for 15 min after fillup. I run E70 in summer and 93 in winter here in Chicago. All on the Flex tune without reflashing.
E70 is a noticeable bump in power down low and up high rpm's!
Noticable gas milaege loss...
I take the Mach to the track 1-2 times a year and even though it would probably be nice to have Recaro's for those 2 times, it's not even close to worth being uncomfortable and losing heat/cooling the rest of the time.
M1 has A10 trans cooler, oil cooler, rear diff cooler.
The coolers for the oil and trans are behind the lower grill in the corners.
And I couldn't disagree more on the 18-23 GT looking better than an M1, you blind?? LOL
These are all 9.5" wheels
Car rides and handles great, bumps aren't as harsh.
RTR Tech 7 wheels are much light than stock.
Also these are Continental DWS Sport all season tires for winter use.
This is what I just sent everyone a picture of. Those RTR's are 19x9.5
The 9.5 front and 10.5 rear width of the non-HP wheels should not change the sidewalls height IMO but mabe I'm wrong
I was thinking about doing this 285/35/19 on my RTR Tech 7's but they are 9.5" wide. Tire Rack says this is the largest I can fit but will this be ok for track use?
Right now I have 275/40/19 all-seasons mounted on them for winter but I'd like to make them my summer setup since they are very...
I forgot to mention I did 2 nights at the track with 4- 20 minute segments at each and a little Autocross.
It performed flawlessly and I was very impressed how it handled the down shifting into the corners!
2021 Mach 1 , 20k miles , 2.5 years old.
No mech issues, just wonkiness that seems to be normal.
Tuned with Livernois year ago and now that I know how to drive it I'm pretty happy with it.
I'll be putting on my 275/40R19 square setup- Conti Sport DWS's on RTR Tech 7's this weekend.
I'll have to weigh them and report back.
I know from looking at Tire Rack that the 275/40 is way heavier than a 285/35r19
