Seems like all the major Coyote tuners don't like it and won't tune for it, mine included. I'm just wondering why GM guys use it and don't have a problem tuning for it.
I've always been curious about Meth as well. GM guys love it and use it all the time. What is different in their ECU that allows them to do it safely vs Coyote?
If you are only wanting 800 rwhp then the 3.0L with 3.875 pulley, E85, headers with 3" exhaust should get you there. I made 804 at 7650rpm SAE on 3.875 on my 17gt mt82 car
ARH headers, 3" Corsa sport. It's a handful for sure. I put it back on pump gas tune and mix boostane with it or add Sunoco ss100 for fuel quality safety. It still doesn't get through 2nd gear clean. Going to work on getting the car to work on the pump gas tune before going back to E85

some really good info here on pumps and heat exchangers. He's against adding fans. Instead he's had guys fence or close the gaps between the heat exchanger and radiator so the air can't escape and this allows the very strong radiator fans to do the...
Whatever it's worth I run an Exedy Mach 600 with aluminum flywheel with whipple stage 2 making 724 on 91 and 804 on E85, shift at 8k no problem and driveability is great.
The weight is significant with the whipple gen 5 stage 2. My first ride in the car felt like I mounted a snow plow. I have Steeda minimum drop springs and shocks and thought it'd work great in preparation for boost, but I was dead wrong. NA it felt incredibly balanced and controlled while...
The highest I've seen is 133 after winding out 4th gear on 100+degree day. Cruising usually 17-20 ish above ambient. My tune is set to pull timing at 150 on E85 and 130 on pump gas.
I went with the standard heat exchanger. I read a bunch of material from department of boost who is very knowledgeable about cooling needs. He said the standard was actually better because of flow through the core. The standard is still a good size unit. I personally didn't want the...
Looks great! I'm at 725 pump gas and 800 E85 with a whipple and looking for a tire on the street that is stable with no wobble at high speed and hook 40, 50, 60 hits
