I think the GT350R has a little more soul. I wanted both as well and couldn't decide forever but after driving the GT350R, there is just something beautiful about a car that is so connected where the ZL1 felt numb at times.
Haha feedback from people that actually heavy track the car is great feedback. With our limited adjustability I told him I wanted something that will be good on track and good on street without eating tires as I will most likely only track the GT350R 3-4 times a year and will mostly share an M3...
We couldn’t go anymore with out Camber bolts or plates. They wanted to go much much more but don’t have the adjustment ability so the Ford Performance recommended specs is what we were shooting for. Wanted to get a good baseline on the car before the big modding starts
Running with PBOC at Winterfest. Crazy event! I just got the list of cars signed up and there is a Hurricane Performante and Aventador running in my group. Going to be crazy!
I didn’t think you were. Just a discussion. The strut bolts in these cars are abnormally strong.
19+ came with camber plates as an option. Mine is an 18.
And no they didn’t grind the strut holes. That is a no no and would weaken things. These guys only do things right and don’t half ass anything.
I’m not sure I agree with this either as the shop ran the Ford Mustang GT4 to many podium finishes and helped with some of the development on the car with Ford Performance as well as running IMSA teams to podium finishes. They know what they are doing and trust them 100%.
Camber plates are on...
Your price you pay for insurance is on what you value the car at. You definitely can't go over board but I take what I owe on the car and what its worth for my math. Luckily i owe less than the car is worth so I always want to not be upside down if there was an incident after the deductible but...
i have never seen a 20% deductible on track insurance. It’s either 10% or 15% and I always add this into my value of the car or of what I owe. If your upside down in your car and tracking it you could have an issue but being out the whole thing would be worse especially when they let you buy...
Good video and nice to hear Randy hoe he rolls off the break almost trail breaking a little to get it to rotate. Ill be there in January so I can't wait!
Same here! A buddy of mine wrecked his 6 month old car with about $10k in parts and he didnt get insurance and went out in the rain, put it right into the way for a total loss and a pile of metal he was still paying on. And had another acquaintance buy track insurance right before going out in...
