  1. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Dave, I'll disagree. My Ford Mustang GT350 has 526 HP which can make up for the lighter weight of a Cayman at Road Atlanta. The Cayman would be best at T-10a and T-10b. The Mustang has the horsepower to power down the straights (it has two big straight's). The big FPC 5.2 engine can make good...
  2. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Dave, I have no clue as I have only owned eight Porshe 911's. As you know, I am an old guy. I have owned 18 Mustangs. Here is my first one: The 1965 Mustang was old when I bought it for $300. My next one was an used 1984 Mustang 5.0 5-speed convertible. Shown here with the next four four cars
  3. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

I'd never buy a GM Cadilac or any other GM product. It's just my opinion. I like my Ford GT350 for a bunch of reasons: I did upgrade but not with any old GM car. I got a real upgrade with a Porsche Turbo: It's really the one and only upgrade from a Mustang GT350.
  4. 911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

My one-owner 2019 Mustang GT350 #1868 is my best car ($60K). I think the FPC engine will soon be recognized as one of best Ford engines ever made. I just bought four new Michelin tires from a sponsor here. The car has Michelin 295-35 R19 Pilot 4S tires on the front with 325-30 R19 Pilot 4S on...
  5. What did you do to your GT350 today?

    No, the race has ended.
  6. What did you do to your GT350 today?

I got new Michelin Pilot 4S tires for mine. 295-35/R19 on front with 325-30/R19 rear. I am starting with 34 lbs front and rear. Torqued to spec. The tires feel great so far, and no more track use for me. The car needs a cage, a harness, and a HANS to track. The factory Cup 2 tires are 4,000n...
  7. GT350/R Long-Term Reliability

I just connected back to here (internet and a death). It's really silly (IMO) to post a non-Ford car in the Mustang threads. I am here not only because I like the Ford brand, but I also like the future of the Ford race cars. My 2019 Ford Mustang GT350 was delivered to me on 7-5-2019. It's a...
  8. My almost 4th year with a GT350

To be clear, this is social media which you love. I have no shame or nothing else. This internet stuff may control your life, but not mine. No one here cares about your life or my life.
  9. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Dude, It means a married guy that has hot sex with his secretary or a former lover while still being married to another chick.
  10. My almost 4th year with a GT350

It was Dave that had the fastest car in the north Georgia mountains. I promise that he is the faster guy here and this thread started as a simple 2019 Mustang GT350 forum which turned in something else. Some of you guys will never find the talent and money to race competively. I've heard two...
  11. My almost 4th year with a GT350

I say you guys are nuts to expand my 4th year of 2019 Mustang GT350 to this eleven page rant. As I said before, this is social media. In all other Ford Mustang racing groups, all Mustang guys work together. It seems here that all Mustang personally hate each other and desire bad things within...
  12. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Good for you, and you are mixing up the dates. The real date at Daytona are November 1-5 (it's five days) for the HSR Classic and Daytona Histrorics. I assume you have a racing license. All new guys need to show speed and presence at the track before the race, I qualified many years ago. They...
  13. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Why don't you stop posting here? It is my thread. You could find other threads to push your agenda or start one yourself? This thread is all about a guy that has owned a GT350 for now four years,
  14. My almost 4th year with a GT350

I said that I lost a friend to cancer. Do you think this is odd behavior?
  15. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Yes, I am very good. I was just thinking of my old friend that passed away.
  16. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Yes, at Road Atlanta with rules in HSR. You have a racing license with a medical?
  17. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Gary and I sat together in his track golf cart while watching guys go thru turns. He would mention who missed the apex by one foot. He just won three HSR Endurance Championships (it includes a Rolex watch for each win). Gary passed away before I ordered my 2019 GT350. He would require front...
  18. My almost 4th year with a GT350

Gary Jones passed away a few years ago from blood cancer. He was ~52 years old. I miss him as well as the guys that raced with him'. He could build a bad-ass race car from a frame of a 1965-1966 car. He could also drive it well.
  19. My almost 4th year with a GT350

OK, I was not honest. I have raced for 25+ years. I went to the Road Atlanta school in 1990 (before Panoz bought it). It had the difficult dip at the black flag station. They made it easy in T-11 with 12A and 12b, with a big sand stop area. Most guys got a 2 second increase. You need to it...
  20. My almost 4th year with a GT350

I think I can break below 2 minutes at RA. I may have never really raced a car on a race track? You guys seem very fast with a lot of experience? My 2019 GT350 is completely almost stock with almost no track experience? It is down on power with only six cylinders working.?
