I did exactly that for a week and decided it wasn't worth the effort to remove the whole thing and the $20 for the "delete" kit.

If you are handy, it may just be corroded contacts inside the relay that you may be able to clean up.

Now you can use them for other mods :).

Diode Dynamics has a good step by step video and may be a good opportunity to put LEDs in there. I did that to mine.

Exactly. I like this and considered installing. I've seen them on other vehicles and you do notice the high mount brake flash a lot sooner. That sticker has to go.

I just installed the Course Motorsports mount. the bracket attaches to the frame behind the bezel. Its quite secure. Also, yes, if you are using wireless charging you loose carplay/android auto unless you have a wireless carplay/android auto adapter that is sold by many manufacturers.
