I think you would be fine going to a 3.73 if you are for sure staying bolt on. We sell a great converter for NA 10r80s as well. Hit me up if you have any questions about the setup. Lethalperformance.com
Do you have a resonator delete on the car? If so you you'll need to put one back on. If you need help with that, shoot me a PM and I can go over a few options we have that'll help kill that issue for you. Lethalperformance.com
You will definitely need E85 or race gas to hit 1000whp for sure. But at the same time, you will definitely need a build short block as well to handle it. Like you said, really all you need is the rods, pistons but there may be a few more things you should do while you are there. I would drop in...
Congrats! They are killer cars! If you ever have any plans to get a few more ponies out of them, hit us up. We have the best deals around and have great exhaust options for the 2020 Gt500. Lethalperformance.com
100% just do the Ngauge and Palm Beach or Lund Racing and you will be able to actually tell the difference in power. Hit me up if you are interested, as we are having sales on the combos. #Lethalperformance
Not a bad deal for sure. I'd buy one if they were around high 30s new. That price range would have quite a bit more people interested in the car personally.
The only negative thing I have to say about the Supra is just the price honestly. I can't justify the prices I am seeing for it. They are killer cars with mods though for sure, but so is every turbo car lol.
Did you order directly from Cervinis? If you are looking for a replacement, let me know. While issues like this do happen, its nice to have a company in your corner to make sure these problems are taken care of and handled.
If by in there you mean not invited cause it was in the last year I guess its in there lol. Issue is the GT500 was in the previous years running too if I am not mistaken.
The cat back would definitely be louder, but I think the cat back is the way to go personally. Its not as bad as headers and a cat delete, but its a bit louder than the axle backs.
A res delete might do the trick for you depending on how loud you want to get, I personally prefer the whole catback setup honestly, they usually aren't that loud depending on which route you go. We actually have several setups that are running killer sales right now during our Black Friday...

The answer is yes, plenty of people boost their stock engines and then decide years later to build it. Most don't ever build it honestly. But the engine can be left alone or built regardless of what boost application you go with. I turboed my 2017 S550 and sleeved/ built the engine weeks later...
