Finished up with the 2 day HPDE event at Mid-Ohio, my first event as a "B" student.
Amazed with the capability of the GT-350 as I keep learning and wanting more,
this car just steps up and gives more. Cup 2's kept on gripping, Whoa pedal kept stopping, and the Go pedal kept on stepping. Best $$$...
I get what you are saying, I don't DD mine and the mechanicals were not a real concern since I bought it new and maintained it myself. My fear is with all of the electronics that this car has, not that there are any real inherent problems in this area but you can be at their mercy.
Just my 2...
I just finished getting the Shelby ready for next weekends HPDE at Mid-Ohio.
Including bleeding brakes, removing Z-26 pads & installing FOMOCO factory pads, under chassis inspection, draining oil separator, checking oil level, and putting the CF wheels with the Cup 2's back on the car.
Now I'm...
My 19 was built in June and didn't have welded boss on the crash bar so I went with the
Raceseng set up. Purchased a new lower grill for about $45 from the dealer so it could
be used to replace the one with the hole in it if someone wanted to remove the tow hook
and do that when I'm dead.
I had the Factory Shifter recall done for the Shelby, then I replaced the upgraded one with MGW shifter.
Must be something wrong with the fuel system, evaporation or leak, cause I'm always filling it up with 93..... 16,450 Miles on it (Smiles)
Looks like the same “Knock off” R splitter that I put on my GT-350.
I really like it, the finish is really close in my opinion and a lot less money. It’s a pain in the butt to install a couple of the little clips but other than that it’s pretty good. Pretty tough also as I have accidentally...
Yesterday I stopped by to check out my buddies "New to him" 2020 golden ticket CFTP car.
This car has been modified with 1100 HP to the tires. (Dyno sheet proves HP) Straight line this thing is impressive. We we got back to his house, after the straight line performance go old, I took him for a...
My mom bought a 66 fastback brand new from Brondes Ford, 289 4 speed, spinner hubcaps, some kind of copper/gold metallic paint. I was 8 years old. Mom kept her car immaculate.
My 4 year old sister almost died in the car when mom caught her poking holes in the headliner with an umbrella. She...
My son was the engineer at the Norplas plant in Northwood Ohio (Toledo) where they molded the front & rear bumper covers, painted them, and assembled (turn signals, grille insert, pony, fog lights) all of the items that were going on that car bumper cover and then sent them up to the Flatrock...
Looks like too much clear coat as the clear coat for Ruby Red is actually like a candy red.
The clear coat is a red tint and the more that they put on, the darker it gets.
Your base coat is almost pink, then the red tint clear goes on.
