Bummer, it works fine for me having the maf clocked down. dev1360 I'm not sure I understand which gap your getting? Your just rotating the maf pipe at the coupler right?

I asked PMAS in the other thread if there were any negatives to what I had done but no reply yet. So far two weeks and no hiccups, just trying to aid my fellow pmas users with my findings. If you choose to try it or not is up to you.

Did everyone miss where I simply rotated the maf down to alleviate this? Lol Pretty good idea with the heat tape. I was thinking about that next if what I did hadn't worked.

I moved the maf pipe as far as I could into the closed section and rotated the maf to the bottom position. This has made a huge impact on maf readings and suggest everyone with this intake or similar orientation do the same. I see iat's of 4-6 degrees above ambient in 90+ degree heat in a matter...

Almost, the maf pipe isn't quite long enough so it's partially there. It's very close to where the pipe enters the box from the engine. A gap in the cut out where the tube enters the box? I didn't like the way the maf plug wires rubbed on the box so I rotated it down far enough that it...

PMAS iat maf readings are much better after relocating it inside the box. I rotated the tube down and have the maf on the bottom near the hole cutout for the tube entrance. Is there any downside to this?

Go make some passes with the steeda and the tune revision. Your jumping the gun pulling it off because of iat's moving slow over 150+ degree Tarmac/concrete.

Any real gains from CAI and Cat Back?

Bottom line is The Ford Oem part has to meet certain requirements that aftermarket parts do not. Things like emmissions , Costs to manufacture, must be dummy proof for those who elect to not service it often or at all, or drive through high standing water, and last fitment. Does this mean it...

Ran the GT, trap speed surprised me.

Fresh tires and track prep go a long way. I would put new tires on it and try again. Do not do a burnout if they are street summer tires. Go around the water. This, if you are willing. If not fresh tires should get it don but it will be harder. It definitely could have been fuel. I didn't...
