Put Infinity Kappa 6.5 in door speakers in after I was done with the sub. It took me another four hours total. 3 hours and 15 minutes for the first one, and 45 minutes for the second one. It's amazing how much you learn when you do something the first time. Also, the various clips that hold...
I did the sub swap to the Pioneer today. Took me about 90 minutes from start to finish, and I worked steadily, not trying to get done quickly. The new sound is wonderful. Now on to the door speakers.
I have the same problem. I'm 6'3" and during track days have to recline the seat to a nearly comic angle and move the seat bottom closer to the dash so I can reach the steering wheel. Unlike you, I have the 'comfort' chairs, because I wanted ventilated seats and more cushioning. I've searched...
I had the same thing on my 2016. Indicated temp dropped 40 degrees. The dealer wasn't sure if it was real or an electrical gremlin, so they replaced the thermostat and the temp sender for the gauge cluster. I would also start with the thermostat.
+1!!
I'm also 6'3", and have the comfort seats. I've looked around for solutions to lower the seat height and found nothing. I would love to find someone who has successfully addressed this. I went to the track earlier this year and had to recline the seat unnaturally to wear a helmet.
My wife is whispering the same thing to me about the GT3 (she thinks I have too many cars...), and I've had a couple friends suggest I should cash in while the market is this crazy. The problem is that replacing it with a 992 version would be very expensive, assuming I could even get a dealer...
Bought a 2016 GT350 new. (The cars had just been released and the dealers were gouging buyers. I found a small, family dealership in OK who would sell at MSRP, so my wife and I flew there from Atlanta and road tripped it home.) Traded that car on a 911 Turbo S. I wouldn't call that a...
I definitely notice the difference between the modes, especially between Track and Normal. Much of my driving is on tight, curvy backroads and if I'm in Normal or even Sport, the car moves vertically substantially more than it does in Track. It's rougher in Track, but the tradeoff is better...
4500 miles on the first set, with one track day. I might have gone another 1,000 miles before hitting the wear bars on the rears. Fronts were done. Replaced with PS4S on a square setup.
Amazed by the people getting 10K+ miles on a set.
Photos below. Square setup with Apex wheels and 305-30-19 Michelin PS4S on all four corners. 25mm spacers in front, and the tires can be rotated. No rubbing noted so far. I wanted the look to be as stock as possible, and I worried that the 'hollow' lugs would look weird, but the studs are...
Just for fun I ran my car through Vroom‘s website (2020 GT350). They offered exactly what I paid for it new, four months and 4,000 miles ago. I’m not selling, but it was a surprising offer. Zero depreciation.
Using Apex wheels, see the attached photo. Michelin PS4S 305/30/19 going on Friday. The original Cup 2's have 'lasted' 4,500 miles, but they're in bad shape. I added toe-in to the front and rear about 2,000 miles ago, which helped with tramlining, but probably shortened the life of the tires...
