Not to pile on, but it doesn't help Ford's QC cause by signing a deal with F1 Red Bull @ $30M/yr x 4 years, plus Farley's out playing at Daytona. Sure, he'll entitled to a life outside FMC. From a PR perspective, its a bad look as the company has persistent issues.
How many Focus are sitting...
There is so much about this that I could say but won't because this is a family channel. Things like government overreach, regulatory agencies and political agendas. I probably went too far already. 🙄
The Camaro is the superior chassis, but I still love the Mustang everywhere else. Engines are fairly equal, but they get you there in dissimilar ways.
As for the DH, we don't know what we don't know. Will it be better than anything we've ever had or just another model that has its shortcomings...
Buy gold and silver and physically HOLD your assets. Do not buy paper. Precious metals are not like the stock market but more of a hedge against inflation and the system crashing. Historically as stocks move down, precious metals move up.
There are several good brokers out there and its as...
I stand corrected .... I was referring to the fact Ford moved on to the GT4 which did not have a voodoo. The GT350C dominated for just over a year in the IMSA Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge Series.
Except for the fact that the road race (actual race team cars) did not use VooDoo engines. They used a cross plane crank version for durability.
Having said that, I totally agree with your point that Chevy is taking jabs at Ford at every turn and why shouldn't they? Marketing, however biased...
Since I'm a Ford rube, I'll be honest. The Camaro SS is actually a really good car ... add the 1LE option and its incredible, so I'm not going to dis it.
Some don't like the interior and others don't like the vision limitations. Others have told me its not that bad, but so much is subjective...
I would be sure to check for vacuum leaks to as that would create a lean condition if the MAF sensor wasn't properly metering the incoming air volume. At idle that lean condition would likely create a stall. Just a guess
^^^^ This ... from everything I've learned (which ain't much), slicks require a much higher spring rate then even a SC2. I believe I was told that by someone who schools with Kenny Brown.
I'd be careful what you wish for ... think about it ... how many people "need" a sports car/muscle car capable of 150mph on ANY current road in the USA? Banning any particular car because you don't see how it fits into the current transportation "sphere" of your community would only bring about...
I understand, but do you also understand the PP2 had take offs from the GT350? ... its not exclusive to the Mach 1. Regardless, enjoy your car .. if you ever get to Road America for a Shelby Club event, look me up.
I think you'd be surprised by just how many of the parts/features you listed above on the Mach are shared with the PP2. Different part #'s don't always mean a completely different part. This isn't a who's better comparo, so no one needs to jump on that train to hell.
As a sum of the parts, both...
From what I've seen from the interior, I prefer the S550. I'm not into the electronic touch screen gadgetry. I really enjoy reaching out and grabbing a knob to turn something on or off/up or down. Its another reason I didn't buy a premium back in 2018 ... just unwanted fluff for me. Just a...
Appreciate all the feedback ... nice to hear from both sides really.
To be clear I would order from @Grainer, so cost wise its not an enormous hit with the used market being what it is.
Regardless, I've always said the Mach is so close to what we as PP2 owners already have, its a shame to...
Sell me on the idea of why this is a good move.
I have a year to decide before the S650 arrives and I'm not sure the S650 is a good fit for me. I'm not into electronics, bells & whistles, but I am into performance.
I don't foresee the S650 to be lighter or better handling, so that leaves me...
Were you able to get any clean laps over the weekend? I'm going to assume you've done some work since your 1st lap last fall.
BTW, those secret testing cars sound familiar. If I squint real hard, they look like a possible up and coming GT3.
That's a solid A+ for someone in your situation. Bravo to you, but you also have to remember not everyone had that luxury.
I went from working 46hr/wk to 70hr/wk during Vid (lost 23lb) to keep up with the demand of the freight logistics nightmare. It just recently has started to relax. The...
