I hit about 145 or so in my '72 Mustang years back. The car didn't have a front or rear spoiler, and it felt like the front end began to lift. I decided that I wasn't invincible and let off. With my '15, I hit 125 and figured it could go faster. I suppose with age comes a bit of sense.

There are jacking points listed in the owner's manual and also in the technical manuals. I have Steeda rails, but there are specific positions the lift must utilize to balance the car properly. Nobody wants a car to fall... but it happens.

I put some in my wife’s Jeep once, since it’s already tuned for E85. It ran ok and about 2 pennies less per gallon than regular unleaded ethanol gas. But I do not run less than 93 octane in my GT.

It’s a common occurrence and when I initially got my car, I raced a couple of Chargers and Camaros. If nothing else, just to figure out what I have. But now, knowing what I have and it’s there when I need it, its satisfying enough.

I recently made 64 and bought my GT a few years back. The other day as I'm driving on the interstate, a 2022 Corvette Z06 comes up beside me. The driver was a bit older than I and we nod at each other and he passes by. Yeah, why not... enjoy the retirement toys we've bought ourselves.
