  1. Cars you regret not buying

I'm impressed you admitted you bought a Tempo....
  2. Which Car(s) do you regret getting rid off

Somewhere in this website are pictures of two cars of the three I regret selling; a blue, ‘65 fastback, 289 with a top loader 4 speed manual, my white ‘72 in which I put a rebuilt 351 Cleveland with a C6 automatic and 9” 4:56::1 gears. Yes, it hauled ass… and recently, I sold my black ‘83GT with...
  3. Cars you regret not buying

Many moons ago, I missed out on a ‘68 GT 500. The car was a convertible with a manual transmission. The asking price: $7,500… Someone slipped in with cash before I could secure a bank loan and return.
  4. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

The weeklong monsoon ceased for the weekend, so I washed mine. Prepped for a nice Saturday drive.
  5. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

I suppose it depends on which hole Arigr prefers
  6. What did you do to your S550 Mustang today?!

Got new tires: Pirelli P245/45 R19 front, P245/40 R19 rear
  7. What is the Fastest Speed You Have Reached, and for How Long?

I hit about 145 or so in my '72 Mustang years back. The car didn't have a front or rear spoiler, and it felt like the front end began to lift. I decided that I wasn't invincible and let off. With my '15, I hit 125 and figured it could go faster. I suppose with age comes a bit of sense.
  8. HELP! My kid F*@&ed up my paint...

Well, one: clay bar and a soft rag... and supervise him cleaning it. two: disowning him is an option, but expensive. three: there are some paint and body shops and if the child has an allowance: guess who pays....
  9. Name something on your Mustang that's working as designed and is really irritating.

I was waiting at a traffic signal and decided to press the 2nd automatic seat/mirror adjustment button. Apparently, someone programmed it was a shorter person. The seat raised and moved forward. I was wearing the seat belts and began to get squashed. Fortunate that the traffic light remained red...
  10. installing jacking rails

There are jacking points listed in the owner's manual and also in the technical manuals. I have Steeda rails, but there are specific positions the lift must utilize to balance the car properly. Nobody wants a car to fall... but it happens.
  11. Purchasing GT or Mach 1 this weekend!

Good looking car! Enjoy it and be safe! I bought my GT from an out of state dealership a few years back and still love driving it.
  12. Baton Rouge S550s

I was wondering, with the nice weather we've had lately, if anyone has been taking road trips. If so, where? I haven't yet, but plan to take a trip to Natchez and have lunch at Roux 61 soon.
  13. Someone explain this to me?

I put some in my wife’s Jeep once, since it’s already tuned for E85. It ran ok and about 2 pennies less per gallon than regular unleaded ethanol gas. But I do not run less than 93 octane in my GT.
  14. So is this just my life now?

It’s a common occurrence and when I initially got my car, I raced a couple of Chargers and Camaros. If nothing else, just to figure out what I have. But now, knowing what I have and it’s there when I need it, its satisfying enough.
  15. How many GTs are Owned by Seniors?

I recently made 64 and bought my GT a few years back. The other day as I'm driving on the interstate, a 2022 Corvette Z06 comes up beside me. The driver was a bit older than I and we nod at each other and he passes by. Yeah, why not... enjoy the retirement toys we've bought ourselves.
  16. My Glorious Return to the Mustang!

Ride to your heart's content, then ride some more!
  17. 1300HP Code Red GT500

Maybe I'm behind on posts, but I'm wondering if there are any takers for this?
  18. This Why I Really Don't Like Dealers

I understand the "Up Sale", because it is required for the salesman to ask. However, no means no. Now for the positive side of the Up Sale, my wife's Jeep will be needing tires soon. The service lady informed us that their dealership is having a sale on tires this fall. She gave us a price quote...
  19. Climate related car attacks [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

I appreciate the public service announcements on this particular thread. It is a a warning about things happening and a reminder of our rights to protect our property.
  20. Climate related car attacks [CLOSED DUE TO POLITICS]

I suppose people have the right to protest, but they do not have the right to tamper/damage someone else's property, regardless of where it's parked. Loosing someone's lug nuts could cause an accident and the perp who did it could be (should be) held liable and prosecuted. All elections have...
