I had my almost brand new 2020 GT convertible, Pilot Sport 4's only 4k miles on them, stock brakes still lots of meat on the pads, new roll bar, check, helmet, check, first time tools, check (too many of course), waters, fruit, snacks, chairs, check, check, check. Off I went to this HPDE thing...
I've read the threads about hitting your rear quarter glass window with some silicone lube to get to close all the way but mine is a bit more severe. It will only go up 2/3rds and leave a pretty large gap not just that little bit extra. Ending up using my Track wrap so my lovely 2020 GT vert...
I'm finishing up my first (of many to come) track season. Last outing I totally wiped out my OEM brakes (fyi started this season with 5k miles on the GT) and had to get some Duralast stand-in's to finish the weekend. So I'm getting new track type pads front and back and was thinking about...
I know there's a bunch of us local to Indianapolis or nearby Mustang folks and thought I'd post here to see if some of you were down for a Mustang Rally drive? Maybe that's not the right term but came across a Miata group on FB that were organizing a Miata group destination drive and thought...
my first season I'm learning a lot about my GT and new skills but the thrill is what it's all about! I hope the video is accessible to everyone (feedback if it isn't).

I've been using some of the Chem guys car washing products recently and noticed that after washing with all the super boojee stuff I was seeing a hazy film in the garage light reflections? If I used a microfiber it might wipe off and for sure with some detail spray. I had my GT coated with...
For all of you that have been doing this yep another newbie shouting from the rooftops on how AWESOME going to the track and finally getting to drive that GT fast on a road course! Wow after two days with a fabulous instructor (shout out to our own PilotGore Jon) with perfect weather I can say...
Minor question on using Track Armour, better to wrap it all before leaving for the track (for me < 1 hr drive) or try to do it once you are there? I saw some advice to have a good wax on the car before using it so that's done.
thanks
What the hell is up with all the motorcycle riders now needing to have a sound system that vibrates my car... from ACROSS the intersection!!!! I've noticed in the last few years the dude in the cut jacket, the boomer in his shorts, the flabbies going double have these sounds system that blow...
Call me Mr. Not-Obvious but after having my GT for about 5 months just noticed the passenger door panel sits about 1.5" away from the actual door. It's like either it was removed and put back on sloppy or happened at the factory. I have the Ford Extended warranty anyone think I have the dealer...
I have this wonderful new 4-post lift from Advantage that included a heavy duty jacking tray. Thing is I'm not sure what my options might be for jacks using the tray. There's old school pneumatic jack and stands, then I found some nice air bag lifts. I did see for a lot of money you can buy a...

I'm now signed up for my first Novice run this May and will for sure get track insurance for the weekend. I had seen some threads about who's good, who's high priced but my search didn't turn up that thread. If folks could share good companies and/or link to a good thread I'd appreciate it...
