Hey guys, sorry for leaving this post still valid. I sold the Tru-x sometime ago and it is no longer available. BTW, I did not part out the car, she's still living her best life with an ESS supercharger and a Borla 3" cat-back exhaust w/resonator. The Magnaflow is a good piece, but too much of a...
This^^^^
The bypass is the most likely culprit or perhaps or an incorrectly routed vacuum line. If the SC pulley is spinning via the serpentine belt then the rotors are spinning with it. If not, you would here a shit load of noise.
The engine is not seeing any air load and it is using some of...
***EDIT*** Intake Manifold Sold - Injectors still available
I have for sale a set of 8 Lu47 Fuel Injectors. Injectors were just recently removed in order to upgrade to a larger injector. On the car roughly 3500-4000 miles and were working properly when I removed them. No e85 used.
Ford Racing...
Finally got around to installing the GT350 intake manifold along with VMP fuel rails and FIC-1000's. The car started up, idled and drove perfectly fine on the base file. I'll data-log tomorrow and hopefully will have it dialed in on 93, then next week I'll get Sunoco 260GT in it and get it on...
Congrats!
I like how quiet the car is until it takes off, the commentators reaction was priceless!!!
You'll need to update your signature now!
Great combination of parts!
Just a quick update with the car...
I won a GT350 intake manifold from Alex's YouTube show a little while back and I've been gathering parts since then to make it all work, but I also wanted to upgrade a few things at the same time.
I've already prepped the manifold with an IMRC delete kit...
Maybe my memory is bad, but I don't recall ever having to disconnect that terminal plug when swapping intakes. Is that necessary for intake manifold removal?
That's definitely unusual to go up 2 belt sizes to get it to fit. Like others have said, make sure routing is good and is properly seated on each pulley, then route it around the SC pulley, then the last idler, which might make it easier to slip on.
If you are unable to get it to fit with the tensioner maxed out without resorting to using pry bars, just go to the next size up belt. I'm running the 120mm pulley with the K061031 I originally had the K061025 on my 115mm pulley that would not go on no matter how much effort was expended. I...
I think you should give this a shot, it really helped to tame the exhaust for me. I paired it with my Borla S-type and I think it sounds pretty good. It's much more loud and harsh without it...
If you're going to run the factory return less (deadhead) fuel system, then I definitely recommend a BAP and appropriate sixed fuel injectors for your power goals.
The Arcane (Juggernaut) fuel system is a true return style fuel system without the complexity of an aftermarket fuel feed and...
I will be running the Arcane Stage 1 return style system from Juggernaut which places the return fuel pressure regulator in the fuel hat itself. I will be running VMP rails and FIC-1000 injectors. I don't know if it's budget, but I like the overall design better than the Fore Innovations or...
I did when I first installed mine. Those edges are sharp! I have a theory about working on a car, if you don't bleed on it, something wasn't done properly.
If Lund told you that the cut was due to traction control, it was due to traction control. They can see the torque source PIDs in the log which tells them when it interferes with power. Like others have said, turn off traction control and advance-trac and try another log. Try dropping tire...
Which specific code is it?
You should be able to just clear the code via the diagnostic feature on the nguage.
Why are you wanting to do a crank relearn, did you install opg's?
