  1. Beware of Lund

I can relate. Sounds like my job is similar to yours. I am great at getting to the bottom of the issue when teams are butting heads. If they could just communicate in the first place, I'd be out of a job! Good thing engineers are a fickle bunch.
  2. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

The good news is that you probably won't need it for too much. My problems with the 2018 were failed cat's at 7000 miles and that was about it other than a few tune revisions. The 2019 has been flawless other than throwing a belt and a pulley which was covered under warranty. Is your ESP...
  3. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

This will probably be the last modded car I own. The only other "sports" car I put money into was a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon and I took it to the strip every chance I got. When I got rid of it after 18 months I retired for awhile and stuck to slow 4 doors until renting a 2017 GT in Hawaii... With...
  4. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I also bought an aftermarket warranty when I purchased the car and had the blower installed. I do not think it will cover jack shit when it comes to the Roush but we shall see. If not, maybe the $8 extra I pay on my insurance for Mechanical Breakdown coverage will help... Chances are? Waste...
  5. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Your points are all very valid but that picture is as old as this thread and probably repeated as much as this discussion :). To be honest, you probably wouldn't buy an S550 anyway unless you want a used one or a 2023 sitting on a lot. I personally wouldn't buy a used one and yes, I was lucky...
  6. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Just a bump (from April!)... Get that thing tuned. The transmission is like butter now over the Roush tune.
  7. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

3 years, 836 pages later..... I feel like @Greyhorse and I are the only one's still here pushing the limits of this kit. If you skip back 200 pages, it may be the same discussion! Even the OP has a negative stance on this kit and I'm pretty sure he only pressed on the gas a total of 3 times...
  8. Roush Upgrade options? Minimal cost

OP. Run the car for what it is worth. When you are bored, headers, exhaust, tune. Suspension mods in the meantime. The kit is fine, learn to drive it. After that, interchiller, e85 (& injectors, pump, etc), pulley down.
  9. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I would kill for your 60' times but I'm not willing to buy new 17" rims unless I buy Weld's and that just ain't happening :) Doesn't help our drag strip is gone next year... My MPH is very close to yours in the 1/8th and 1/4 (unless this was a run where you let off, can't remember) but I just...
  10. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Wengerd all the way. Light throttle in S+ shifts like butter. Mash the gas and it shifts like drag mode though.
  11. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

My IAT2 numbers haven't changed in 4 years over two different cars with the same kit. Most of the time I am 40-50 degrees above ambient. After 2 hours of resting in 60 degree weather my IAT2 was 125 when I started my car.. During my burnout it was 120. At the line it was 122.. It was 149...
  12. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I'm thinking along the same lines. I would like my car to be more consistent no matter the time of year! I do have LTH brand headers.. As for cats... I personally hate the species but my wife insisted. He's not allowed to ride in my car until he's de-clawed though.
  13. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

I'm sure a lot of it is in the shift points and rev limiter tuning but even when heatsoaked in the staging lanes it puts out some good numbers. For reference.... In August when it's 110+ outside I can let the car sit all day and drive it to the strip, let it rest for 2 hours and be the first...
  14. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

Just an update for those that are still here :p Being tuned by @Wengerd Performance is a night and day difference over the Roush tune. I still have no cooling mod's to speak of but summer (and cooler months) performance is MUCH better. The drivability is great and strip numbers are way more...
  15. From SS 1LE to Mach1 Handling pack

you’ll be making noises in the backseat then? 😜
  16. Question for guys who actually have the the Roush Kit

been running 91 only for 4 years with 2 different cater I’m that time. 0 issues with 91. although finding 91 in Nebraska this last summer was a PITA. i drag race it all the time too.
  17. So is this just my life now?

Had a Tesla model 3 accelerate as quick as he could to catch up today. It didn’t end well for they. I didn’t even break the law
  18. There are no words…

There you go folks. Just retarded "on the spectrum" people driving badly because of video games. /thread
  19. Rear Seat Delete... holy high priced mat batman....

I must be the only person in the world who took an 8000 mile roadtrip in a Mustang with my wife and two kids. Even had my mother-in-law and wife riding in the back a few times. My 11 year old is 5'6" and 170lbs and fits in the back just fine... My wife would trade with him so she could sleep...
