One more from Sunday. I did not take this one. A local C&C Facebook admin did.
  2. Dealership Really Pushing ESP. How Reliable Are The Convertibles?

I always like when the F&I guy tries to convince me that the car is a rolling computer and if one goes bad you can't fix it yourself and will cost thousand upon thousands of dollars to fix. I always reply with, show me the numbers on computer failures in this particular model, and if anything...
  3. Financing question

Refi as quickly as possible. Most likely your Credit Union probably has a program set up to refinance.
  4. What is this clip called?

If you can't bend it back, your local hardware store may have a similar type clip in their hardware bins. Our local True Value has a nice assortment of clips, push pins, and other automotive specific hardware.
  5. dealer drilled holes for front plate

I live in a front plate state, got my car from a dealer in a no front plate state. They did not drill. At first I didn’t really give two 💩💩, but now I’m really glad they didn’t.

Snapped one when I was grilling dinner. Light is good. Needs a bath…

  8. Back up camera issues

If you start your car in any gear but reverse, it operates normally? Then you shift in to reverse and it is good? If so, I would park the car in 1st and call it a day.
  9. Oil change interval

Oil changes are cheap, engines are expensive. Every 5,000 miles or at least once per year. Remember the OCI’s spec’d by the manufacturer are a combination of marketing to keep maintenance costs low which feeds onto total cost of operation/ownership and the minimum level of maintenance that...
  10. It was a pleasure, but no more Mustang for me

I think Toyota wanted a straight 6 for the Supra. IMHO, I think it was cheaper for Toyota to buy the power plant from BMW than develop a new engine in-house. For Toyota to make a in-house engine economical to produce it would have to go into a few different models. I don’t think they have...

  12. 2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

You should not have any trouble flying with a certified check made payable to Chapman. Chapman sent me an email with price, fees, tax, tags etc. Once I got in their queue for delivery I had no trouble with communication. They will reach out to you to get an appointment set up...

I went through Chapman. My car arrived at the dealer on the 8th of June. At the time Chapman very busy with deliveries. First appointment they had available for delivery was on the 22nd. I was out of town that day and could not take delivery until the 25th. I asked for no dealer stickers to...
  14. 2022 Official Mach 1 Order Tracking Thread

Nice!! I bought mine from Chapman as well. I asked them not to put the dealer sticker on, and they did anyway. The good news is, it peeled right off with no problem at all. I did that as soon as I got home. I still have their license plate frame on the car because I'm still on the PA...
  15. Misfire codes (P0308, P0306, P0300) on a stock gen2 coyote with 60k miles

PO308 and P308 misfires are are on the same bank. I would visually inspect the harness for any rodent damage. I would also get that sorted before putting any other parts.
