Gotcha! Yes, there are mounting options avail. now from AG (LG Fab), MMR, and Fat Fab for the 20. Simple & straightforward. I guess for me it just may come down to "where there's a will there's a way". (hopefully! Lol)
True. The ATX-20HD has proven itself more than capable. It can crank our voodoo with authority. IF mine was primarily a track car I would likely not be so reluctant to go with it. However, I need that total peace of mind it will "be there" for me on long out of state travels, not degrade...
I have yet to look thoroughly into this BUT wonder about our oem batter box. Possibly cut it down ...OR.....so the ATX-30HD will mount securely using the LG Fab mount tray? Difference in height I know is only concern. Only 1.7" taller . ??
Yes sir. I did just that over 1 week ago. John @MPR carbon contacted you (AC) for an order status update. He advised me that my hood IS indeed STILL awaiting to be picked up from you by your shipping co. Was told there is backlog / issue with getting shipping co. to pick up parts. 4...
I hope (and actually do expect) fitment on this GT5 GT500-STYLE hood to be spot. Ordered mine from MPR and they said it fit very good! BUT, I paid for it exactly 4wks ago and stilll awaiting shipment to leave AC! 😒
So your TB you received DID arrive with dimpling on the shaft? Trying to find out if it is no longer offered on our Ford TBs. As stated above, my NEW TB does not . Thanks.
Well, a little more looking over Soler website and I see our GT350 TB "Features" says nothing of dimpled shaft. HOWEVER the GM offerings for LT1,LT2,LT4....models all have a "dimpled shaft trailing edge". Soler does this added feature on the GM TBs but not on our Ford TBs. ??
Hmmmm ....reallly? You guys got me to ck mine and now I realize my NEW TB from Soler does NOT have the dimpled half-shaft. Dang! Will call Mike this a.m.
Yes this protracted delay is getting absurd. Just as others here, my 2020 final production yr. GT350 has increased significantly in value (as have all prior yrs.). Having knowledge that my extremely low mileage 2020 is of a somewhat rare build combo would appreciate it's value.
@Bulldogs22 : I agree with @galaxy that the TB Controller would not be a concern for vehicle warranty. It is simply scaling/increasing the voltage before going to PCM to direct % of TB opening. Per Soler Engineering description on Controller:
Yes, I had intended to go the "Rework Your Own" route then saw that the "New" option was now apparently in stock so I ordered that just today. (Along with the TB Controller.)
I believe the confusion stems from in early PRE-production phase Soler had sent out both a mild and a more aggressively ported TB to early beta testers. @GTthree50 received the mild job and @honeybadger the more aggressive one. [email protected] has now dialed in the porting to be offered and thus...
Yeah I agree with Ray, these are good. I looked at 2-3 others (CPC, Autofanatic, ...) and decided on these as they have sufficient size but not toooo large, quality appearance and ease of removal. Not a big fan of splash guards generally speaking but to add protection when out traveling. This...
