That thread is fantastic, it has everything you need.
I took a simpler approach when I installed my AE system. I installed the OE active mufflers and a third-party electronics kit (actuators, controller, wiring harness) that uses a small wireless remote. I didn't have to mess with Forscan or...
If you're talking about buying adapters or possibly even new calipers to try and make front rotors work (they won't), you might as well just buy a set of rear rotors and call it a day.
The Z is simply not a better performing package dollar for dollar, the Mustang is cheaper in both trims. The Z could easily be more FUN to drive, and I'm looking forward to test driving one myself.
I'm not trying to bash the new Z, I really really like it. But I'm also not going to ignore...
I tend to rotate through these. Got a huge album of pics from the dealer when I bought my car. The last one is my favorite pic from my first track day!
They have every right to be, this comparison from C&D is ridiculous. The Perf trim Z competes with the GT PP1 in price and performance, not the HP Mach 1. And for the prices Nissan is asking, it absolutely should come with better tires.
The base Mustang GT is also $4k cheaper than the cheapest (slowest) Z. In fact, the cheapest PP1 GT is only $4k more than the base Z, and is $5k cheaper than the Performance trim Z it compares to. The Mustang is arguably more bang for your buck, but the prices are close enough that choosing...
I don't claim to be an expert, and I have heard something like that before, I remember E50 being the magic number. But there is definitely still more power to be made with higher ethanol content in a turbocharged engine.
The stock fuel system on a gen 3 Coyote can handle full E85 as long as it...
A quick search tells me that LP/HP pumps and injectors are needed for E85 on a Q60 Red Sport, so I would assume the same upgrades are needed in the Z. That's a bit of a bummer.
Absolutely! They have virtually identical performance on paper. A decision between these two will be up to interior, exterior design, and which one you find more fun to drive. Can't go wrong with either choice, in my opinion.

Oh yeah, a simple tune on a factory turbo car makes so much difference. I'm excited to see how it does with E85.
And I completely agree. If I HAD to get rid of my Mustang, I'd go for the Z. But all these reviews haven't convinced me it's worth purchasing new to replace the Mustang at this point.
The entire length of the article is spent explaining how the leveling kit (lift) isn't the culprit, it's the heavier aftermarket wheels and larger 34 inch tires... Doing that to any truck will decrease its range, this problem isn't unique to the Lightning or electric trucks in general.
This...
I actually got curious about how it compared to the GT and looked at C&D's review of the 2018 GT PP1. https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a14500071/2018-ford-mustang-gt-manual-test-review/
The Mustang pulled slightly higher Gs on the skidpad (0.96 vs the Z's 0.93) and stopped just a couple...
You didn't happen to buy this in Texas, did you? Those pics look exactly like inventory pictures posted by Texas Hot Rides in Carrollton, TX, which is where I bought my car. I asked for all their pictures of my car when I bought it. They're a great sports car dealer!
Sweet ride!
I experienced a somewhat similar issue when I bought my car (used @3k miles). The engine had a constant surging pattern at steady throttle, in any gear, cruise control on or off. My vacuum gauge showed further movement than yours, and I could actually hear the engine trying to load up in the...
That's the go-to for great paint protection. On the hood, you would only need PPF on the forward half, no need to cover the entire panel. I would also add PPF on the forward half of the front fenders and the rear quarter panels where they flare out in front of the rear wheels, I've caught...
Just installed this kit on my 2018 GT. Fairly straightforward install. I opted for the cheaper nylon fittings.
Just like @chesster51 said, it's a little different with the gen 3 Coyote. I also pulled the quick disconnect fitting at the firewall to make removing the OEM rubber line easier...
It looks like a stock 18+ front bumper to me. Custom grille and splitter from Anderson Composites added to it, considering the display board behind it...
The springs, right? I haven't been able to find any on Ford parts sites, but the mopar version is exactly the same and can be ordered individually. Throw "Mopar active exhaust spring" into Google and take your pick of supplier.
