I can say with out a doubt that the front is very close. I had to put felt stoppers on the inside because when adjusted properly, it would slightly rattle because it was hitting in a couple spots
It looks like my stripes are 7” wide total, including the pinstripe (I started measuring at the 1” mark instead of the 0” mark to make the lines clearer)
also looks like the gap between the stripes is close to 1” even
Well, you got to remember the installation price too. I took my bigworm stripes to 2 different places. The first said $650 regardless if I had the stripes before or not, cause he was just going to throw them away and cut his own cause it was easier… so I took it somewhere else, and the guy put...
Yea, see… THIS bothers me… these are photos of someone else’s cervini hood and the stripes aren’t lined up with the center support on the louvers. I would have had them redo it if it came out like this. I was VERY specific about it when I dropped my car off. I think the spacing between the...
Yea, I would say get the dimensions for the GT500 stripes and then just take it to a graphics shop. The guy who put mine on said it makes it a lot harder if you have the stripes precut and bring them in, cause they have to line them up. He said the easy way for them to do it is put a large piece...
Also, I told the shop to center the tripes on the center support for the louvers on the hood. I have seen some people put stripes on their cars and they don’t line up with the louvers and it drives me crazy
Yea, they are big worm, they’re 7” I believe. I dunno if I’d recommend Big Worm though. The stripes were not cut straight at all. Thankfully I got the pin stripes because the outside edge was cut all wonky and the shop had a hell of a time hiding it. The section that was in the roof was...
yea, the Vicrez hood has those bends, but they’re really unnoticeable under decals. I was worried about that too with my GT500 stripes, but after they were put on, you really can’t tell at all.
No hood struts added. I still use the bar in the front. When I get home from work, I’ll take pictures of the hinges so you can see if your struts will have a place to attach.
yea! We both got ours and it fits amazing! The one pictured on the site is really jacked up though, not sure why.
I 100% endorse the Vicrez hood after purchasing it myself:
Likely what you’re picking up on is that they stick out a bit too far… that’s because on the GT500 the fenders are 2” wider than on the Ecoboost, so it gives the illusion of them being out too far. Trust me, they are on correct.
I feel like having an extremely low car in California is a bit tricky. I already have to be careful as every time I pull out onto a street, the front scrapes horribly. Gotta take every slight bump at a 45 deg angle! haha
