As others said, "upselling" is common, especially to spread to shop cost as I'm guessing warranty doesn't pay as much.
But $157 for the cabin air filter? The hell? Those things are $20 at most and 10min of work if you're not doing it for the first time.
It's mind blowing that...
Sorry for the late reply. I went with "Husky" brand from American Muscle. They're great. Just were a bit slippery in the beginning and when I clean them. But dress/work shoes usually have a sharp heel that slides easy, too.
Careful, these things are, as I'm sure you've found out, STUPID slippery when new. I got a different brand, but virtually identical and there's been a lot of times my foot slid way into the gas or past the brake pedal.
I'm now rural-ish, so my internet choices were limited. I had a DSL of 18/2, which was not enough. Now I'm on T-mobile home internet, so far so good. It's only got 2 ports, 1 feeds Google Nest Wifi and the other feeds the NVR.
So far it doesn't fight, yet. That's with 2 cameras. We'll see how it...
If you are looking to avoid monthly fees, I'd recommend Lorex. I got no pony in that fight (ha, get it?), they have local storage and I can still access them in an app. I have a floodlight/cam combo at the entrnace of a barn, inside the barn to monitor farm animals and am adding 3 more. I got an...
I know the question wasn't for me, but I got mine done with Xpel at Pristine Auto in Indy, they had a covid special for some of the $0 items or I talked them into throwing some items for free:
Just visited 2-3 weeks ago for my annual inspection and everything is holding up quite well.
Attentive fiancee you got that. Something damned cool about a wife that loves to take the Bullitt for a spin and rip it, so I feel ya there. :)
Much like others said, it does take considerable effort over stock to close, equal action/reaction sort of a thing. But it's miles better than just...
Of course anecdotal, but it seems that during covid, we all had to kind of settle for lower quality on services and local places due to availabilities and shortages and now that's carried over into today.
Some business still think you have no other place to turn so they don't care. Pretty sad...
You didn't quote my post, but I'm assuming you're replying to mine since you were the very next comment. :)
I am not sure, will check it out more today, I just noticed it last night, it was dark and tough to take a clear picture of it with flash.
I'll definitely look, but wouldn't that throw a...
Gotten the 22S37 recall done last night (the manual gear position sensor). I wonder if it'll help with the rev matching sometimes not working while coming to a stop from say 3-2-N gears.
Threw in a wheel alignment to make sure my new Pilot 4 A/S don't wear too fast.
Lastly, has anyone got a...
It always looks so tacky to have a dealer sticker or one of those hard/plastic decals or a delaership-branded license plate frame. Dealers that do these to cars should be slapped.
Why advertise for them for free?
I understand on econo-boxes, but on the Mustang none of that stuff belongs. Get...
Right. But from the recent trends it seems Can-spec vehicles get better equipment (like the recent Si with heated seats etc).
I guess maybe I did get charged for mine, but I got one with my Bullitt, it's just been sitting in a box in a garage.
If you haven't read these yet over on @FordPerformance, they are worth it. Great family stories and everything mustangs and shelbys. https://performance.ford.com/enthusiasts/newsroom/2021/03/young-family-fords-pt2.html
Felt inspired by some of the posts from gas station lighting and gotta say, makes the Bullitt green look pretty good!
Finally got the Pilot 4 All-seasons on, they're great so far. Filled up at Kroger (since Costco was actually same price for premium, even though it's not Top Tier at Kroger) and...
As someone that just returned from home (Czech) where I filled up a rental for $7.25/gal on regular, I'm quite excited to fill up my Bullitt at Costco at about $4.50/gal on premium.
Edit: Just looked at Gasbuddy, seems it'll be $4.95/gal. Oof.
Wow it's only $100? Shows how ripped off we are getting with the "electronics package" which I think was $2,100 and gets you B&O, BLIS and navi.
If it's that much of a sound improvement, I might do it too. I like to listen to music quite a bit, so that would be money well spent.
