What I'm trying to understand is that shouldn't the bigger blower take a bit longer to spool than a smaller blower resulting in a laggier overall power curve?
If there's no trade off then why bother with the smaller blower?
I was careful not to choose a bushing that traded too much NVH for performance. There are some other brands that have had mixed feedback but these were the ones that I found were right on the money. I guess YMMV.
To anyone looking to improve the shift on a manual stang, I just recently did:
Energy Suspension shifter bushing
Superpro trans mount
BG Trans & Diff Fluid
Hustle Performance shift knob

Hey guys, I'm starting to get my GT track ready for next year where I'd like to do an event once every couple of months. Nothing too serious, more to explore the limits of the car in a safe environment and have some fun.
One thing I am struggling with is finding a set of affordable track...
How serious are you going to be tracking your car? Are you doing it casually or are you deep diving in?
If just casually and not too serious, you could get a 19x10 ET35 wheel all round and put 275/35 Nankang AR1s on. It'll still be plenty fast and you'll have lots of fun, and you'll be able to...
I believe legally you can't put rims on that are smaller in width than stock, although I doubt they would ever blink an eye or tell a 9 inch rim versus an 8.5 inch one just by sight when you would have the stock tyres on. 255s should be straightforward for an 8.5 inch rim.
As for drawbacks...
Thanks guys. Even after a quick drive I can definitely feel a difference. Steering wheel feels a bit lighter and grip is better. Ended up going the Contisport SportContact 6s in 275/35 295/35 which feel great.
