Hood latch pins..... Better sit down for this one

Oh I know they are definitely made my Quik-Latch, that should be common knowledge around here at this point. The design is proprietary to Ford according to AC.

Hood latch pins..... Better sit down for this one

Anderson Composites told me that the hood pins Ford has on the 500 hood are proprietary. Considering they were always correct about the 500 hood lines not matching the 350, I believe them.

That's the direction I'm leaning as well. I'll send links to all these discussions to AC tomorrow morning and keep everyone in the loop. Thank you for reaching out on Facebook as well, I love that the people that want this are being heard!

Anderson Composites GT500 Hood for GT350

AC is looking for us to provide input on wet or dry based on what people are willing to pay for. If the majority would be willing to pay the extra for lower weight, the decision would favor a dry carbon hood. My guess is wet would be around the same as their current offering for the GT500. I...

Anderson Composites GT500 Hood for GT350

That's excellent news. I created one on TMO. Anderson Composites is really looking to gather what people would be willing to pay for both a wet and dry carbon version as well if the people on those sites have provided that. I've shared my expectations with them, but I don't want to put a number...

Anderson Composites GT500 Hood for GT350

I actually forwarded that to Anderson Composites when I reached out. The fitment is really bad. 1. Agreed. It would need to flow with the body lines the same as oem. 2. It would have the rain tray, AC confirmed that. 3. I like this idea a lot as well, especially since it makes it easy for 350...

Anderson Composites GT500 Hood for GT350

Yup, that's correct! This would be identical to the GT500 hood except it will fit the GT350.

The vent is part of the hood, but sold separately currently since I believe it's being created for Ford Performance. Not a cowl hood. It will look identical to a GT500 hood.

Hey Everyone, I have some good news for you boosted folks and those like myself wanting to play with a Cobra Jet intake. I've been going back and forth with Anderson Composites over the last couple days about getting a GT500 offering for the GT350. I offered to reach out and collect interest...

GT350 New Cervinis hood unveiled! @LethalPerformance!

I'd get in on a group buy to kick of production of something like that. I asked them if they would be producing it about a year ago and they had no plans. I'll reach out tomorrow and see if I can get something going.

Yeah that fit is embarrassing. If Cervini's is looking for that "Ebay special" fit and finish, they knocked it out of the park.

24 year old kid who needs advice on doing all his own mods

Few things to consider: 1. Driver mod will always be the most effective thing to sink your money into and that will carry you through every car you own. The abilities of the car exceed the abilities of the vast majority of the people that will ever own them. Adding go-fast mods will only...

Why didn’t they put the Shelby letters on the back deck lid ?

That jacket is visually abusive. On-topic: The letters on the back look cheap and bad (imo) but it pales in comparison to what I used to see at modern Mopar car shows. Some of those guys would get R/T tattooed on their foreheads if they didn't have to go into the office.
