    New 2019 GT350R owner coming from a Porsche 911 - first impressions!

Pretty cool to read comments from enthusiasts and/or owners of both the GT350 and 911 here...... drove my R yesterday, visited some buddies and spotted a 991.1 C4S at the gas station. It’s a cabrio but still a sweet ride:

    New 2019 GT350R owner coming from a Porsche 911 - first impressions!

A 964 C2 and a 991.2 GT3... I had a 991.2 Carrera before and that was such a fun car to drive as well. Anyway enjoy driving that R!

    New 2019 GT350R owner coming from a Porsche 911 - first impressions!

Congrats on the R. As a P-car owner here, I also still love my ‘17 R as well. Enjoy yours and that’d be cool if you can add another 911 in the future!

    MotorTrend 2019 Best Driver's Car GT350 vs 911S

I agree that a square setup for the track will aid the 350.... but even w/o, we all know by now it can still perform quite well at a high level. Randy as a pro can obviously elicit the smallest details to the Nth degree (in regards to what a car needs improvement of) on the track. I’m biased...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Good choices. The 996 GT3 with the Mezger is the best bang for the buck P-GT car right now... and close is the 7.1 version but I’m seeing them breaching $100K (wholesale) sooner or later. This past spring I rented a meteor gray 997.1 Carrera S manual cab via Turo for a few days in CA.... that...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

@torque124- At least you see Porsches galore there.... there are plenty here in South FL also but in this land of pretentiousness- there are Lambos and McLarens all over. Phones whip out for those types of cars.... but I buy my cars for myself- not to bling and leisurely cruise as an eye candy...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

^ I think you're one of the select or handful of unique exceptions. Kudos to you of course, and nice rides too! You do save a bundle by DIY'ing.... many Ferrari owners still rely on indy or dealership shops for maintenance and repairs. So the parts/labor costs compared to a Mustang or 350 is...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

I agree with that of course. And like what Austin stated above, the Ferrari will be a maintenance money pit (while the Ford and Porsche have greater reliability and lower upkeep costs).... plus another unfortunate issue with out-of-warranty Ferrari cars is once the miles accrue, the value...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

Lol.... beetle. Okkkk, good one as always {insert sarcasm}. Both the GT350 and a late model 911 will run rings around the F430.... and I don't dislike 430's at all. The Scud is easily one of my top favs. Joking aside, they're really different types of sports cars though.... similar...

911 vs GT350 Motortrend: Which is the Better All-Around Sports Car?

This unfair comparison was a no-brainer. But it also continues to show how amazing and highly-praised the GT350/GT350R is.... and still a top notch bang for the buck. I believe that's the unwritten message of this head to head. And yes.... I can imagine a new 992 can clock ridiculously fast...

    Official GT350/R Mustang Owners Registry

Nice to see some more Race Reds here.... but they all look sharp in any of the available colors. Here's my 2017 R (HR310)... have it for 2.5 yrs now and still like-new. :) Spring 2017: 2019:

    Pre-Production 2017 GT350R Found For Sale

This specific R sold at Manheim this past August and was exclusive for Ford dealers only..... it was also a previous Ford Corporate Fleet (6/13/2016) registered vehicle. Retail price is not bad... not too far away from wholesale. Make a fair offer in-between if I was a buyer...

    GT350 vs Supra / M2 Comp / 718 Cayman Review -- C&D Article Oct 2019

Amen to that. Personally, I’ved gone thru a Z06, Viper ACRE, GT4, 991.2 Carrera, FocusRS, and a track pack GT350...... and years later I still absolutely and highly enjoy driving my 2017 R. It’s not the fastest nor quickest nor lightest nor has the best amenities but it’s arguably the most fun...

What trailer w/ Raptor to tow gt350

Like others have said and done.... the Raptor can certainly haul heavy loads just fine. For example I have a steel open trailer and even with the rear-engine GT3 loaded, it was able to haul with ease to Road Atlanta and back to south FL.

Whoa, it's been awhile since I updated/posted pics here.... and sadly one of the Woods brothers (above) is deceased. Anyway... still have the GT350R and GT3 (both are long term keepers) and added a 964 Carrera 2 a few months ago. What a fun car! Aircooled baby! :inlove: And I'm a...
