    Antimatter blue GT500

Personally I like Antimatter way better than Kona & Velocity. I would probably be torn between it, and Ford Performance Blue. Ultimately FPB would probably win out for me. Color opinions are like lips and assholes though........

Jmeo's 2020 Shelby American GT500 SE Wide Body Build

See now even that lip would be acceptable to me. Again, I get where you are coming from. For me I fell in love with the wide body because of the widened rear AND the deep dish wheels. I guess it’s hard for me not to have both at this point. I will more than likely go forward with the wide body...

Jmeo's 2020 Shelby American GT500 SE Wide Body Build

I agree with you on the non wide body cars. Their wheel looks great on that. When you spend $20,000 to make the rear quarters wider, you want them to look wider. If you put a flush faced wheel on the car, to someone who doesn’t know the wide body was done, it’s not going to look very much...

Jmeo's 2020 Shelby American GT500 SE Wide Body Build

I will say my recent post was shooting from the hip. I absolutely love the wide body, and I know I would regret it if I didn’t get it. I know it sounds crazy, but I have also always loved the look of SA polish deep dish wheels, especially with the embossed words SHELBY, AMERICAN, and FORGED...

    GT500 Inserts

So I was contacted by Zimcraft last December because I was one of the first to take delivery of our cars. I took many measurements, rubbings and such for him to bring these to market. There was another member here who also helped this happen, I think the one who sells them here, and makes the...

Carbon Fiber Wheel Destroyed Posted by Speed Phenom

Exactly my point. I understand that some people are car enthusiasts, which include the mustang. I’m thinking the mustang people who really don’t care about other cars, especially the exotic kind will eventually leave. Then I suppose the new breed of fans will just take their place. All a...

Jmeo's 2020 Shelby American GT500 SE Wide Body Build

Well, I think I am cancelling the wide body portion of my build. There is not a deep dish wheel being made for the wide body GT500. Apparently the larger brakes make it impossible?? The SE wheels look fine on non wide body SE, but are a huge design mistake on the wide body. Personally I think...

I would love to see all his mustang followers drop him like a bad habit.

2nd Blown Modified GT500? This time it's Stangmode with Hulk!

Im curious to know what a stock for stock replacement will cost. I suppose if it is just a long block replacement, then I can agree with your guess. If when it detonated it affected a head, or the supercharger, or more, we are closer to $50,000. Did a price come out on the crate engine Ford...

2nd Blown Modified GT500? This time it's Stangmode with Hulk!

My money says it was the fuel system setup he was using. I don’t know what he used, but I bet it got too lean then it went boom.

Yah, I forgot to use the sarcasm font, just al the ..........’s. I wouldn't wish this on anyone, but to be honest, I saw it coming. Sucks to be him right now.

Carbon Fiber Wheel Destroyed Posted by Speed Phenom

Agreed, case closed. If the CF blew apart, I would hate to see what would have happen to an aluminum wheel.

    Infamous BBQ/Typewriter tick..

My comment wasn’t to slam Amsoil, in fact I used to be an Amsoil dealer. I just meant to say a lot of people think they need to use a different oil when in fact Motocraft is plenty good. I agree on the oil change interval, this is more important than switching oil brands in my opinion. Also...

    Infamous BBQ/Typewriter tick..

I have heard people say for years how Amsoil is the best. That remains to be proven in my opinion, and the OEM dyno-juice is pretty exceptional as it it. I would not use anything but stock oil in these cars. The oil was picked by the engineers to work as intended with this engine, and thats good...

Exhibitions Of Speed GT500 Hood Vent Project

Yes, you are accurate. I am not buying one of T's vents because I honestly like the stock one, and see no need to change it. I also do not want to start throwing carbon fiber at the outside of my car. I have done this on previous cars, and before I knew it, I was out WAY too many thousands to...

    Trailering

So those ramps are 15+ years old. I made them for loading my riding lawn mower into my pickup. They are just 2'x8' planks with a "ramp kit" attached. The ramp kit comes with aluminum tip/heel attachments, and the rubber grips. I used them here to just lessen the angle of approach. Funny story...

There will be one more available to the rest of you, as I will not be getting one. I applaud Terrance and the parties involved, this is a pretty good thing in general. Pretty great to see new ideas, and new visions being carried out. My decision would be different if I wasn't completely happy...

    Trailering

As other said, it fits on the U-haul trailer. I did not have the splitter installed, and I put 2x8 wood under from tires for enough height to clear the front of the trailer. I do not think I could have double stacked the wood, because there wouldn't be enough strap length the reach the...
