  1. The Down and Dirty ADM Thread

You guys looking for deals aren’t looking hard enough. One of our local dealers just sold a new ‘18 GT350 he was advertising at $5K off MSRP for months - and still has a new ‘17 priced at $7,900 off MSRP!
  2. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

With the Demon, I guess you won't be able to dodge acknowledging that you're buying the most track-ready Challenger ever produced.
  3. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

Retooling the fenders and quarters would have cost too much time and money - I think Dodge's marketing group already thought the price was high enough for the market to bear - plus they had to leave a little room for the ADM.
  4. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

Another love connection on Mustang6G... :o
  5. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

A couple of things. The dealer and the buyer have to sign a notarized contract showing the price. Then it has to be reviewed by the Demon Conceirge. And where did you see the orders will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis? FCA has plenty of time between today (first day of order...
  6. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

Imagine the Dodge dealer sales manager sitting in his office saying, "Well, Roscoe, the reason you're not getting your Demon until the end of the production run 9 months from now is that we charged you $20,000 more than the other dealers are charging their customers."
  7. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

You guys are missing the point. Demons sold over MSRP will be the last ones built, if there are any left. The dealers with the big ADMs may never get a Demon, with only 3,000 being produced. This may be the greatest game of chicken ever!
  8. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

It does help kill the ADM dealers. If they get pushed to the end of production and all 3,000 cars are already sold to Dodge dealers who played by the rules, the ADM dealers won't get any. And as far as the collusion of the southern dealers, all it will take to stop that little bit of price...
  9. Who says a manufacturer can't control dealer pricing? (Just ask Dodge)

From FCA today: June 20, 2017 , Auburn Hills, Mich. - The limited-production, 840-horsepower Dodge Challenger SRT Demon – the fastest quarter-mile production car ever – is due to start arriving in dealerships this fall. Today, Dodge is announcing just how it will allocate these rare beasts to...
  10. owners Supplement for Sale

I know of one that's been "depersonalized" - the plaque has been removed from the crank stand and the certificate is missing. Apparently everything that's generic is there. What the heck is that worth?
  11. Has anyone seen an Owner's Supplement for sale?

Thanks, it's been about 10 days since I searched - right before eye surgery. No wonder I missed it.
  12. Has anyone seen an Owner's Supplement for sale?

My situation was similar, except my car was sold two more times during the week after I sold it. Craziest thing I ever saw.
  13. Has anyone seen an Owner's Supplement for sale?

I did search. There's a thread about how excited guys were to get their Owner's Supplements from Ford - but nothing came through about buying or selling them.
  14. Has anyone seen an Owner's Supplement for sale?

Just curious - with some totaled GT350s and resales going on, what's happening to the unloved Owner's Supplements? What are they worth on the open market?
  15. Factory Paint Job

Uh, no - the problem is in the prepping and painting process - not the colors. Paint boogers don't discriminate.
  16. Factory Paint Job

I have looked at hundreds of cars from many manufacturers during the last 18 months of ordering and taking delivery of my GT 350, and I have never seen defects like the GT 350 has on any other cars, including Corvettes and Camaros. Ford's abilities and quality control are totally unacceptable...
  17. Factory Paint Job

Unfortunately, crummy paint seems to be a standard feature on GT 350s. I turned down the first one I ordered because the paint was so bad, and the replacement one had defects too. That's the problem with buying a $60,000 car that has the guts of a $20,000 car.
  18. 2015-2016 Tech Pack and Base GT350 Cooler Solution Discussion

Sorry, but you'll just have to go back through the thread - a bunch of us have called, plus several others were told this face-to-face at an official Ford event.
  19. face lift

If you always wait for next year, all of a sudden you'll find out you're dead - without having had any fun along the way.
  20. 2015-2016 Tech Pack and Base GT350 Cooler Solution Discussion

That is simply not true. Ford has said countless times that they're "working on it." :headbonk:
