  1. Voodoo builders signature list.....

Already a very long thread about this... https://www.mustang6g.com/forums/threads/who-is-your-gt350s-fpc-voodoo-engine-builder.37029/
  2. MPSS- backordered on 295-35-19

I did the same. So far I like the square setup better. The OE tires didn't tramline that much but the square setup seems to have completely eliminated it...
  3. Tire Options Question

Thanks for the replies and comments. I have not tracked the car yet but still hope to. I did think about only getting 2 new fronts but since they were the OE tires and 5.5 years old I would be getting new ones in ~1 year anyway so just decided to get all 4 now. In the end decided to go 305...
  4. Tire Options Question

Recently took a screw in one of my original 5 year old, 4800 mile PSS front tires, screw is in the shoulder so not repairable. I hate to replace all 4 tires because of this but that looks like the road I'm going down. Decided to stick with PSS, considering these options using original non-R...
  5. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Finally installed BMR jacking rails, not sure why I waited so long to do this, went with the CJR760 short style. Installation was a breeze, spent most my time removing some extra seam sealer that was in the way. Sure makes life easier!
  6. End of the road - Good Bye GT350

One helluva ride! It's been a lot of fun reading about your journey with this car.
  7. Contemplating selling

I would think the roads to the south and east of Puyallup towards Mt. Rainier and Morton would be fun. I'm not far from you in Woodinville, I usually head north and east, lots of curvy roads to play on.
  8. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Here's a couple. Best I could find with a quick search that have the tail lights at roughly the same angle...
  9. What did you do to your GT350 today?

One of those tried hard to entice me to race him yesterday. Fortunately for him I had just left home and oil temp was only up to 140*F.
  10. Meeting with Doug Cantwell - Carroll Shelby's project manager for the original GT350

Thanks Ira. Have to admit I thought it was completely nuts when I heard Nick Smith was planning to re-restore the car. Mark had done an unbelievable job on researching the car's history and restoration back to street prototype config, it was perfect IMO, and saw no reason whatsoever to touch it...
  11. Meeting with Doug Cantwell - Carroll Shelby's project manager for the original GT350

I had opportunity to meet Chuck at SAAC-35 in 2010. It bears repeating that he is a super nice guy who is so giving of his time, especially anything Shelby related. Chuck brought his newly acquired 66 GT350, 6S796, out from PA to CA for the convention. There was an "unofficial" event the day...
  12. 2018 GT350 J1844 Owner's Supplement on Ebay

Saw this today.....mentioning it just in case the current owner of chassis# J1844, VIN 1FA6P8JZ2J5502228 is on this forum... https://www.ebay.com/itm/255402177282
  13. Can anyone tell me what this is?

Yeah, I have the same. Went through them recently and was surprised how many were dead links, makes room for more new ones!
  14. Can anyone tell me what this is?

D1VE-6015-AA is the tricky one, it can be either thin web/2-bolt main (standard), or thick web/4-bolt main (CJ/SCJ)... http://429mustangcougarinfo.50megs.com/components_3.htm
  15. Can anyone tell me what this is?

    From what I've read 429 CJ/SCJ blocks are cast D0VE-A or D1VE-AA.
  16. Dipstick reading after 350 miles from oil change

I assume this would make some sense if there was a windage problem being reduced by lower oil levels. But, doesn't the stock GT350 pan include a windage tray?
  17. High Mileage GT350 Next Steps - Recommendations

That totally sucks, sorry to hear it. I assume this is the incident? Sounds like the crew is ok. https://www.roadandtrack.com/news/a39120715/cargo-ship-with-porsches-and-vws-burning/ Still waiting for the main wiring harness rats chewed up on our Cayenne at Christmas to arrive from Germay...
  18. Shelby found stripped…

Based on discussions on the SAAC forum the stolen car is a clone, not a real 67 GT500. No idea if the stripper is a clone or not...
  19. What is this I see?

Anything even superficially resembling an F40 is OK in my book...
  20. Mecum brings huge numbers for GT350R Prototype

Hard to believe it looked like this as recent as 2010 at SAAC-35. Special thanks to John Atzbach who is responsible for bringing it back to it's prototype condition as driven by Ken Miles.
