  1. Let’s See Those Trucks!

Agreed - Mine does (relatively) heavy hauling a few times a year (home projects / cleanup), but spends most of it's life hauling around lighter weight but bulky equipment/supplies to support the FIRST robotics team I teach. My bed is full ~7 months a year.
  2. Let’s See Those Trucks!

Getting a bit of a theme going!
  3. New SYNC is available to download

any idea what the changes are? The updates can be a pain so just looking to see if it is worth it.
  4. What's the lowest speed you can cruise in 6 gear, MT6

I have a bad habit of shifting to a higher gear too early when just cruising around - this usually lead me to be in 6th at 30 to 35mph around town (and then downshifting whenever I hit a significant hill or needed to accelerate). I am better about that in the GT350 if only because the exhaust...
  5. best wax ever

I haven't tried that one yet, but I have been really likely the Meguires Hybrid ceramic - works great and very easy to apply!
  6. 2019 Mustang GT 350

Wow - this is something where NY is actually very reasonable! Vehicle reg is based on weight but ~$65 every 2 years and the only tax is sale tax at purchase. There are nominal fees for title and plates, but also only at purchase. I didn't realize that other states had it so bad! We do have...
  7. Who Names Their Cars and What Is It?

"Willow" - from The Buffy the vampire slayer TV show. She was a computer nerd (lots of electronic goodies in the car) who was very powerful in magic (Voodoo engine). My truck (2016 F150 SCREW) is named "Jean" after her color (Bluejeans) Wife's car (2019 Mini Cooper Countryman S) is named...
  8. Tuners dissappearing [closed due to politics discussions]

I think there will be, it will just look very different. There is a lot of potential flexibility in battery and motor controllers that could be tweaked for different performance outcomes. At a very basic level the trade space looks like (higher voltage = more power + more heat = reduced life)...
  9. What engine in what car would you like to see?

Ford Nucleon powertrain in anything - never need gas or a charge! Ford Nucleon - Wikipedia
  10. Eco boost VS GT

    Even a Voodoo or Predator?
  11. Gurney Flap

I get it, but I was actually averaging ~21mpg on the highway with it installed. Still - it is all about smiles per gallon, not miles per gallon
  12. Gurney Flap

Not a Mach 1, but I just recently decided to install the gurney flap on my 2019 GT350 and saw no real measurable decrease in mpg at highway speeds (maybe 0.1 or 0.2)
  13. Shelbyfest May 6-8

Always wanted to go to this, but ~1,200 miles is a heck of a drive for a weekend trip. Maybe sometime in the future when the kids are out of the house.....
  14. Saturday April 17th Official Mustang Day

April 17th is also my wedding anniversary so no real car only events. The Wife are I are headed out for a "Date Day" however and definitely taking the Shelby!
  15. Tire with some longevity?

All of the P-zero tires I have had have been all around not great tires (not great traction, poor life, etc.). In my experience Michelins tend to provide what is advertised. I have only had the A/S3+ tires on my GT350 for ~700 miles so I can't talk to wear. I did have Michelin PSS tires on my...
  16. Tire with some longevity?

    Second this - or A/S3+
  17. Can we have a funny meme thread? (NO POLITICS!)

Well yes, but also no. It is a meme from a book series called the Stormlight Archive
  18. Can we have a funny meme thread? (NO POLITICS!)

But it could be fire! (Not sure how many on this forum will get this reference)
  19. Can we have a funny meme thread? (NO POLITICS!)

Maybe, but if you are wearing sneakers with a suit (or even just slacks and a shirt/tie) for the office, that is just wrong.
  20. Is it really necessary to change your motor oil after winter storage when the car was never started and the oil was changed prior to storage?

I think a lot of this depends on the type of oil. Synthetic you should be good to go. If you are using regular oil, I would recommend a change soon as that breaks down much faster. In either case the filter is fine.
