Interesting. I just checked mine and it did update the Procal software again, but after looking for tunes it says writing to disk, but that doesn't mean there's a tune and that's where it ends. Nothing new that I see. Same tune I've had since it came out.
Have there actually been any updates with the calibration since it came out? Ford Performance told me before that they never provide updates unless there's something seriously wrong with the tunes and there was no updates. I've seen software updates for the procal, but not the tune itself.
FP says, "Parts are designed, engineered, and developed to rigorous Ford OE standards." So I'm sure some parts are made in the same factories, but not all. I can tell you the clear plastic shell the FP lights are not as thick as the red oem.
I had a set of aftermarket lights that came with a paper that explained some condensation is normal, just not standing water. Any non oem light I have used/tried all got some sort of condensation at some point.
Oem plugs should be good for 100k miles. Some do replace 30 to 60k.
I was having my rpms go up and down at random times at idle or at stop lights. I was also having random misfires without any codes showing.
Don't go by that gauge. It is highly inaccurate. Mine bounces like crazy when driving, but doesn't reflect actual numbers. Look at the screen with the actual physical numbers.
What is it showing at idle on that?
The rpms could possibly be a spark plug issue.
The 10 speeds can have a mind of their own sometimes. A kam reset which the dealer did will help, however you may have to do it again at some point which you can easily do by disconnecting the battery for 20 mins. Sport for me sometimes is smooth, other times a little rough. Normal is the most...
