When I had mine done it was $4600 for the PPF and $400 for the ceramic coating on the whole car, both Xpel. Just a question. When you say five year guarantee, thats from the shop? Xpel gives you a ten year warranty on their PPF.
Something I just thought of, if you really want to be able to turn them off and dont mind spending some time and money, is bW9kZT03JnBhZ2U9MSZwcm9kdWN0X2lkPTEyNzM1JnBhZ2VzPTImcGVyX3BhZ2U9MTAmc3RvcmVfaWQ9MSZzPW9mZiYmJiZhY2NvcmRpb249aXRlbTQ2MTImYWNjb3JkaW9uPQ==[m=]]']Diode Dynamics LED board. I...
I agree with you. Like I said, I try to go with FP is possible. I'm just saying its not something I'm banking on, and if FP doesn't make a comparable part its not something that stops me from using a non FP aftermarket part.
I understood what you meant, but most of the suggestions were for turning off the DRLs. I was just trying to emphasis that while they may act like DRLs, and maybe are legally DRLs " in some jurisdictions", Ford and the cars settings dont treat them as DRLs.
So "key off, yes.", means engine on?
Drained battery, seems like the engine might not be running. Next line is not even in response to you.
All I was trying to do is explain anything having to do with turning off the DRLs will not turn off the tribar lights. Seriously, what is your problem?
I just googled it and Canada does require them but that still doesn't explain why they are separate from the tribar lights. Interestingly it seems Canada also doesn't require you to use them, just that the car has them.
No, the question was "Is there anyway to have all the DRLS and lights off while your just parked ?" I'm just trying to help, so call them whatever you want, but the fact many refer to the tribar lights as drls seems to be the cause of confusion. Many of the replies have correct information for...
I dont know about anyone else but I am not trying to justify buying FP parts. If available, and comparable, I prefer to buy from FP, I dont really care who agrees. If someone asks I will give my opinion though.
I completely agree with you, as has been stated here, and in many other threads, FP...
That has always been my thought too, but to be honest I have nothing to back that up. Like others have said, Ford explicitly states FP parts are treated just like any other aftermarket part.
But also, an OEM part will include its own warranty, while a FP part usually has no warranty. If...
No, the DRLs are inside the headlight lens. Not sure if they are their own light or just the headlights dimmed. My guess is they are just the headlights as 2018 was the first year they came with DRLs and the first year the headlights were LEDs. The tribar lights are "Signature Lighting".
