    New European Website www.steeda.eu.com

It did it again. :giggle: This time it doesn't like the word 'nipple'. I don't know why, since we're all adults here and have known about nipples and what they're for since we were in primary school, so I don't think they're a secret to anyone now. 😁 But anyway, I'm fine with any synonym you...

    Lockdown boredom already?

To me, by far the biggest flaw of the European 2015/2016 Mustangs were the horrible, disgusting DRLs implemented via the fog lamps, instead of the beautiful tri-bars that the Americans were getting. I could have forgiven it a lot of things, but those sorry, yellow abominations were more than I...

***Urgent*** Check Clutch Line At Brake Master Cylinder

Yes, a pair of long angled needle nose pliers would be ideal. Unfortunately I didn't have one, which made things more difficult. In the end, after rummaging through all my toolboxes I managed to find something else that worked, but if I had to do it again I would get those pliers first. Pinching...

    My Red Pony

Very little. I couldn't even perceive a change in the fluid level in the reservoir. It was at Max when I started, and it was still at Max when I finished. There were two tricky bits. First, removing the firewall end of the hose. I don't think it's tighter than the other end, but there isn't...

***Urgent*** Check Clutch Line At Brake Master Cylinder

I installed the Steeda improved line today. It was a bit of a struggle, because the space is very tight. Tightening the clip at the firewall end was particularly difficult. The good news is, there's extremely little brake fluid spillage in the process. So little that no fresh fluid needs to be...

    My Red Pony

New mod: Steeda improved clutch line to master cylinder. Considering how hard I had to pull on the original line to take it off the nipple, I don't think it would have ever come out by itself. It would have probably been just fine. But I had no way of knowing that beforehand, and it was a...

How do you deal with this?

Something's definitely wrong. It should go all the way to the pillar.

    My Red Pony

New mod: Ford Performance carbon fiber shift knob, plus Steeda black delrin lockout collar. :sunglasses: The shift knob looks and feels great. Photos don't do it justice. :inlove: Size-wise it seems to be just a tiny bit bigger than the stock one, but that's only visible in a side-by-side...

    Lockdown boredom already?

True. But I bet they wore a big smile at the end of the day.

    Lockdown boredom already?

Making a great car takes passion. Given enough money you can make a good car. But a great one takes love and passion, which cannot be faked or bought. I have no doubt that the Stinger is a good car. But the Mustang, for all its faults, is a great one.

    Lockdown boredom already?

Yes, I am. I've seen it in person. It doesn't do anything for me.

    Lockdown boredom already?

Yes, it is important, but not as a goal in and of itself. I didn't say it wasn't important at all, I just said it wasn't everything. My Mustang, despite its screeching driver's window, buzz in the driver's door (or is it in the A pillar? I can't tell), or less than perfectly aligned bonnet...

    Hellloooooo A10. Why didn't I upgrade sooner

That depends. There's no fun in winning by using a perfect machine, which does everything itself and is designed not to lose. I'd rather try to win through my own skill. And if I lose, so be it, at least I've enjoyed trying. A friend of mine has a BMW M4. In a drag race I would stand no chance...

Why is there no Ecoboost and GT sections in the main forums like there is for the other builds?

Actually, they're very relevant. They make the V8s feel special. 😛 Just kidding. I test drove an EB and can't even begin to describe how impressed I was.

Grabber Lime 2020 GT Build Thread

 Wouldn't have noticed that if my life had depended on it. I solved that with a small USB stick. The upside is that unlike a cover, it's also functional. Although most of the times I use my phone for music, I do sometimes prefer the USB stick. Both have their strengths and...

Grabber Lime 2020 GT Build Thread

Sorry, but I can't for the life of me figure out what I should see here. Just that it's clean? 🤔

Why is there no Ecoboost and GT sections in the main forums like there is for the other builds?

I'd say general things are the same, regardless of what engine you've got under the hood.

    Hellloooooo A10. Why didn't I upgrade sooner

I drive my wife's automatic Kuga in manual mode all the time, but it's still not the same as a real manual. I'll give you that it's a reasonable approximation, but it's still far from the real thing. And that's a six-speed box. I can only imagine how annoying I'd find it if it were a ten-speed...

Ford Stops Building Sticky-Tire Mustangs Every Winter

Isn't the dyno inside the factory? Don't they have heating there?

    Magneride feels floaty

Yes, if you run over bumps, but I was talking just about body roll due to high lateral G. Indeed, on a poor road. But on perfectly smooth tarmac I imagine it would be nice to go round a corner without any body roll, like a Formula 1 car.
