Dumb question time: does the tuning hardware (eg- SCT tuner) have to stay permanently connected to the vehicle? Or is it just to load the program initially?

Not a daily driver and I'll spray her down so hopefully not a big deal long term. She's there for smiles not to live in the garage 😜 and YES she looks bad ass a little salty right??
