  1. Alignment tools

CSM Performance LLC, but they don’t offer the lower cost 1000lb set anymore. Back at the end of 2019 they offered the set with lasers and target boards for thrust alignment for under $2k. This set is fine for my 911 and Cayman but a bit at the limit for the stang.
  2. Alignment tools

Pretty much if you take your time, level the pads. The great thing about hub stands is you can get to the weighted suspension adjustments and the hub stands have rollers on the bottom so your adjustments are not bound up.
  3. Alignment tools

Hub stands are really nice though a bit pricey
  4. Mach 1 as a dual purpose street-track car (DE)

@VictorH Pagid RSL-29 pads front and rear How are the RSL-29 pads holding up as far as wear rate?
  5. Mach 1 as a dual purpose street-track car (DE)

Fortunately, there are gas stations near by Sebring so it’s no problem at this track.
  6. Mach 1 as a dual purpose street-track car (DE)

I've had 6 track days so far, 2 in January on 265/285 PS4S because it was cold and the rest on the cup 2's, all at Sebring. After the first 2 track days, decided a bit less roll and dive would be nice and fitted Steeda's dual rate springs, those worked out really great for both the track and...
  7. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

The only time I used the paddles was on the cool down lap to lower the rpm. Transmission (and engine & diff) were in the mid range but it hasn’t really got hot yet here.
  8. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

Steeda states 0.5” drop, here’s a pic of the lower splitter in HP configuration, ie, cup2 tires, after the spring install. I can convert my car to a non-HP configuration easily by removing the lower splitter and swapping wheels with PS4S tires for longer road trips, but I haven’t had any issues...
  9. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

    I do indeed!
  10. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

I did the first 2 track days without the Steeda dual rate springs and there was a bit to much movement in the car under braking and cornering. Installed the dual rate springs and have done another two track days. Transitions are quicker and trail braking is more stable. Sebring is pretty bumpy...
  11. 21 GT Magnaride Failure - Steeda Springs

I have my wheels off at the moment, here’s the LF….
  12. 21 GT Magnaride Failure - Steeda Springs

May want to check the orientation of that bracket. The only other caution I remember was to not use an impact gun on the strut top nut.
  13. 21 GT Magnaride Failure - Steeda Springs

Did you disconnect the Magneride sensor from the lower control arm prior to removing the strut?
  14. S550 Lap Times (Road Course)

    Year/Make/Model/Trim: 2021 Mach 1 HP Track/Course: Sebring Best Lap Time: 2:31.322 Tires (Size & Model): Cup2, 305f, 315r, 30R19
  15. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

@ChitownStang The 10R80 works great, there isn’t a single point in the lap where it’s in the wrong gear. My other track car is a 16 Cayman GTS with PDK, the A10 is close. It is a HP and I installed Steeda’s dual rate springs, 2 piece rotors and DTC70f/60r pads. Cup2 tires are great on the track.
  16. Sebring Track Day, 10APR22, Mach 1 HP

Starting to get a better feel for the car, worked on a later apex on Turns 5, 7, 10, 13, 15 and 16, car seemed to like it, about a second quicker.
  17. 3D Printed Oil Filler Funnel

Just did my second oil change, love the 3D printed funnel. Used a form a funnel and poked a hole in the filter, got most of the oil in the pan but some missed the funnel, hit the cross bar and under tray, but still mostly made it the pan, albeit with some cleanup. @pilotgore, if I’m not on the...
  18. Lowering springs on a HP car.

    Not required for Magneride.
  19. Lowering springs on a HP car.

M1 HP, Steeda dual rate springs, [email protected], one track day.
