  1. Another one bites the dust

I kind of figured things have evolved a bit in the many years since I worked with this stuff. Good info!
  2. Another one bites the dust

It’s been a long time since I dealt with data recovery from an EDR using a CDR but at the time ( and I still think this holds true today) the sole purpose of an EDR was to monitor and assess vehicle safety system performance. With that in mind any fault monitoring would be directly related to...
  3. Another one bites the dust

Yes, but I think it was listed more in response to someone suggesting it would show a "drastic loss in oil PSI..." which the EDR will not show. Ford might have access to that information another way but not through the EDR.

I think in a perfect world (no delays and shutdowns) that is correct. In my case my car went into production on April 26th and the blend date showed 05/03/2022. The plant then closed from April 28th through May 9th and my blend date never changed. The car was then officially built (completed)...

Fuuuuuuck that! I turn ‘em off especially if I happen to be driving in the snow as it’s much more fun. 🥸. But then I did grow up drifting the horse and buggy on the way to school.

Well, it only takes one person to file the suit, but you’ll never get it certified as a class action in Federal Court with just two “injured” parties as you have to deal with Rule 23 and one of the first issues to overcome is Numerosity. In any event, it does sound like their are numerous...

Part of the shipping issue is likely related to the railroads. Over the past six years the Class 1 railroads have shed 33% of their workforce (174,000 down to 116,000). It wasn’t all about COVID either as just before COVID they were down 26% ( you know, gotta make Wall Street happy and pump...

With winter tires you would have driven right out of that. 🤓
  12. Ordering Nightmare

Since it is still showing "shipped" and not "delivered" I will assume they did not sell it out from under you. Other than that the fact the Regional Rep cannot give an answer is very strange to me.
  13. Ordered October 2021

Holy long wait. You should see the window sticker generated this week if your build date holds.
  14. Tire sizes

His question was about a 305/35/20 which is indeed approved for a 10 inch wide wheel. A 305/30/20 is not due to the shorter sidewall. In the case of a 305/30/20 it is only approved for a 10.5 to 11.5 inch wide wheel.
  15. Tire sizes

    The rim width range for a 305/35/20 is 10 to 12 inches. I don’t believe the stock 20 inch wheel is that wide ( 20 x 9 maybe??). So unless you have a 20 x 10 to 20 x 12 wheel it isn’t approved.

Not sure. Assuming all of the following cars have the same priority at the same dealer, the way I see it is let’s say Dealer A has two Mustang allocations for the month and two orders. They get pulled from the USOB and scheduled for build. Dealer B has two allocations for the month and 10...

No need for hostility and I wasn‘t correciting you I was simply posting my understanding of how dealer issued priority works (10 to 99) although for retail orders it’s 10 to 19. It’s good you have a 10 and if the dealer has several orders in the Unscheduled Order Bank and has the...

It’s my understanding that a dealer issued priority only matters for orders within that specific dealer. It also matters how much allocation they have.
