  4. GT350 OEM tires for $999.00

I ran across this thread in a Camaro forum: https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=585730&highlight=GT350 It is a good price; you just have to be within driving distance. I am not the seller, and have no affiliation to the seller. The post is only a few weeks old and it had zero...
  5. Why didn't I think of this before......????????

I was cleaning/detailing the interior and I was using micro-fiber towels to get the dust out of the nooks and crannies (insert English muffin comment), and I could not get all of the dust/debris away from the center gauge bezels................. I attached the blow gun and dragged it into the...
  6. GT350 referenced on C&D article about Cayman GT4

We should feel honored that C&D referenced the horsepower to weight ratio of the GT350 when doing an article on the new Cayman GT4. They did however call us "Meatheads": But the GT4 bends that world to its will, its Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2s clinging to the road like an alligator to its prey...
  7. test

The Shelby started getting hotter than normal and felt like it was having a hard time getting air. It also felt like it was down on power..... the thing felt weak. I started looking to see it I could find out what was causing the symptoms my Shelby was experiencing. Here is what I have found...
  8. S550 to first car... can you remember them all?

Staring from your current S550, can you remember ALL of the vehicles you have paid for since you bought your FIRST car? I know some will have VERY long lists, while others may not. Many of us may have over-lapping vehicles from way back when. Let's see if I can count backwards in the order...
  9. Valve stem location on the GT350

I noticed the valve stem location is not the same front vs. rear. In the fronts, the valve stems are between the spokes, in the rear they are not. Does anybody know the reason for the differentiation between front and rear? I'm curious as to how many people are right now going into their garage...
  10. The evolution of the Mustang Black Box data

The data in the Mustang Airbag Control Module (ACM) has evolved over time and a lot more data is available. Here is what was available in the first year it became available in 2001: o The number of restraint system diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs) present when the event occurred o Time...
  11. Question from the other side of the pond...

From what I gather in reading the threads from the UK section, the GT350 is NOT imported to the UK. Am I correct? If I am, why? I am a new owner and have only been on this forum since last April of '19. So don't flame me if this is an old topic, an old rant, or something I should have already...
  12. 2019 Oil Consumption update & Question

I just reached 5000 miles and I have just put my 3rd quart of oil in. I know there is a plethora of threads about oil consumption in the pre-19's, but I am curious if my addition of a 3rd quart at 5000 miles is typical? And yes, my '19 has the "R" engine code. Has anyone else added similar...
  13. Crossplane vs Flatplane V8 Sound Comparison

This is just plain cool... I had to try and explain the difference between a Cross Plain Crank vs a Flat Plain Crank to a co-worker. He asked what the difference in sound, and I found this: Also see this Motortrend video with a sound comparison between the Voodoo (GT350) vs Coyote (GT)...
  14. C&D history of mustang 0-60 times

Interesting read... it gives the 0-60 times throughout the life of the pony cars. ENJOY, if you have not seen it yet. https://www.caranddriver.com/features/g15105913/ford-mustang-gt-0-60-times/
  15. Sidewall flex oddity

Not a Mustang (but still a Ford); I found this sidewall flex interesting. The right front tire is still inflated and I see no apparent damage to the rim... yet look at the amount of sidewall flex that occurred.
  16. Vintage - Mustang v. Camaro

I was in college when these were the hottest cars you could buy... the horsepower and 1/4 mile times are really vintage. The 80's had GREAT music, but the muscle cars were lacking compared to today....!!!!! These are the Good-Ole-Days right now my friends.... enjoy the current real muscle of...
  17. GT500 All-Wheel drive...????

I know its not all wheel drive, but the Ford Build & Price site has a lifted GT500... looks like about 3" lift kit! No... I did not Photo Shop this. Once you click on the Build & Price, they also offer a extra light weight GT500 that actually floats. Traction will be an issue since it is...
  18. Potential TSB for '19 Shelby's...???

I am afraid I have stumbled upon a grave situation in which all of us '19 owners are ultimately going to be subjected to. Based on my ownership of 4 weeks, I have noticed an issue which is most likely going to result in a TSB. It is with heavy heart that I inform you that if I am correct, not...
  19. New article on the GT500 from SAE

SAE's September issue just arrived and there is an article on the GT500. It is probably old info re-hashed, but when I was waiting for delivery of my '19 GT350, I would read anything I could find, so I am passing it along to those who are waiting for their GT500's:
  20. Downloading the Mysterious "Black Box"

Several had expressed interest in how to get the data out of the Black Box... so here goes: Equipment The equipment is not terribly expensive, but not cheap enough for the hobbiest - the kits range anywhere from $5000 to $25,000. The array of cables needed to go directly to the module is where...
