Yes, I got the Steeda front and rear set.
  2. KONA BLUE S550 MUSTANG Thread

I have the same in Graphite, staggered.
  3. WHP Estimate with LTH + FI

I went with Kooks 2" long tubes, no cats, and Kooks 3" catback. I couldn't be happier with it. Installed everything with the help of a friend. That along with a Lund tune netted 450hp on a mustang dyno in the middle of summer on a 90+ degree day. I have since Installed a Whipple stage 2 kit...
  4. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

I did not. I am going to take a look when I get it back on the lift in a couple weeks to see if there is anything I can fab up to enhance brake cooling. I am pretty sure I will still experience brake fade when I go to the track this spring even after the upgrade but I want to get a few runs in...
  5. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

Gotcha. Good to know! I had already planned on doing stainless lines when I upgraded the brakes so wasn't any real question for me but this is great info to help other seeking advice/answers.
  6. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

I could be wrong, I just remember reading it on LMR before I purchased the kit. Below is what they had posted. All 2015-2021 Non-Performance Pack Ecoboost/GT Mustangs will require OEM 6 piston brake hoses or J&M brake hose kit JM-22560FC (fits both 4 and 6 pistons)
  7. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

I am pretty sure you cannot use the factory front lines from 4 piston to 6 piston however the lines that steeda sells will work with both 4 or 6 piston. I used the steeda lines.
  8. Getting a Lund tune

Was tuned December 2020. Back when they still supported SCT devices. My state doesn't have emissions so maybe that has something to do with it.
  9. Whippled 6-sp with RXT clutch- so hard to drive!

Like @moffets said. Take the clutch pedal spring out. That was the first thing I did to my 18. Since I have done many things, including a Whipple gen5 stage 2. Removing that God awful clutch spring made the biggest difference for me even before FI. Best part is that it is a free mod. Worth a shot.
  10. Getting a Lund tune

I'm confused. Lund tuned my car, which has catless headers, and I do not have any check engine light..
  11. What oil are y’all running?

I run Ford Motorcraft 5w-50 with my Whipple 2018. I order it from rock auto. If you spend that much on a Supercharger what's a $100 every 3-5k miles in the grand scheme of things..
  12. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

I did not. I am going to see how things go at the track this spring and go from there. Last spring we got bad brake fade after about 4 laps on a short coarse(1.6 mi). They were rolling smoke when we came off. Granted I am pushing way more horsepower than stock so that may have a bit to do with...
  13. Correct backing plates for 6 Piston Brembo brakes

I ordered the front 6 piston brake kit from lmr and it came with the small shields. Lead time was only a few days.
  14. The whipple wait

I ordered mine back in September 2020 and got it about 8 weeks later. Installed it just in time for Christmas!
  15. 18 oil pan gasket replacement

I searched quite a bit over the past year regarding supporting the engine and dropping the subframe to remove the oil pan and change the gasket. I really wanted to avoid this if at all possible and was successful in changing the gasket without the above mentioned procedure. This is more of an...
  16. AWD 2017 Mustang GT Conversion

Dude this is awesome. Can't wait to see it all come together.
  17. Kooks 1 7/8 header install

When I installed 2" kooks on my 18 I did remove the battery, and shield for better access to header studs. Also had to remove both lower motor mounts and jack the engine up slightly. Some people leave a few of the factory studs in the block cause they are a pita to remove. I ended up changing...
  18. LTH or Full Exhaust, Best Performance?

I went with kooks full exhaust. 2" long tubes, off road pipes(no cats), 3" catback with h-pipe. It will definitely wake the car up, and the neighbors haha. I wanted it to be as open as possible in preparation for the Whipple which yielded better than anticipated results. Kooks are a bit on the...
  19. Cold air intake

I had a roush cai on my 18 that the dealer installed before I bought the car. I never had any issues with it. Removed it last year when I installed my Whipple. It is still sitting in my garage if you want it. Has about 7k miles of use.
  20. What do you think about GT/Ecoboost/V6 Mustangs with stripes? Poseurish? Tacky?

I love my stripes. They fit the dark theme pretty well imo.
