  1. What did you do to your GT350 today?

and the NVH concern is what made me go FP for the springs. This car will be off the lift for a few months while one of the other projects gets attention, and I wanted the stance to be on point since all I can do is look at it and roll it around the garage... Being local, you're more than...
  2. What did you do to your GT350 today?

The Steeda's were under consideration too. Honestly, I had a hard time even just ordering these. This was going to be the car I finally wouldn't mod. I'm not saying the sways won't happen - but I'm ok spacing the small mods out and really getting a feel for them. I also really enjoy working on...
  3. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Started on the FP spring install. Got the rear done and the front apart. Hard to make good time with a 4 month old.
  4. Getting near that depressing time of year-Winter storage

It was mid 50s(I have a firm 50* rule for taking the Shelby out) here yesterday but there's so much road treatment down still the car is better off staying on the I changed the oil instead. For those that can, post pics of the cars out for the rest of us.
  5. Shift Knob very tight

Or even just a blow dryer. Heat up the base of the shifter knob, turn a 1/4 thread, warm it up some more, another 1/4 thread and it will get easy from there... Work slowly, use heat and your bare hands and you wont destroy your nice factory shift knob
  6. Car just arrived and Ughhh

    This is spot on.
  7. Has anyone tried the Carbon Force Ceramic Protective Paint Coating System?

Late to the party here but I used Carbon Force a few months ago. It is not "grabby" on the first coat but was definitely hooking up on coats 2 and 3 It does not rainbow or flash so you've got to be super focused and methodical. I had to polish out a few high spots, it wasnt a big deal. Just...
  8. Anyone have experience with these lifts?

I find the Quickjacks to be a solid option. Even with a 2 post lift, I wouldn't mind picking up a set if the price were right just for the ease of use and convenience. The lifts in question just look like they turn your car into a see-saw. Fundamentally, I just don't see the point.
  9. Oil filter shortage

Ah, I screwed that up. FWIW - the first parts store I called had a 2087 in stock
  10. Oil filter shortage

Try the revised part number - KU2Z-6731-A
  11. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

  12. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

The day after Thanksgiving I hosted family for a happy hour. Everyone always ends up in the garage
  13. 2020 exhaust noises

Yes, in fact it does it pretty randomly. I sometimes hear mine do it a week or more since it was driven last.
  14. Jacking rails, yes or no?

This thread is turning into the "painted brake caliper" thread... I have full length BMR's - and I see the value in them. Lifting the car up is fine without them(I have one of the "puck" adapters), but placing jack stands feels better with the rails. Nothing is a "must-have", it's all...
  15. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

Got my 2 post installed today! Clutch time for the C5 along with heads cam and exhaust. After that it’s Coyote time for the Fox
  16. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

I would say the floor is def worth it. Looks awesome, any downside other than price?

  18. Shelby GT350 Garage Photos

Wow - love everything about this garage. Can we get more pics?
  19. What did you do to your GT350 today?

Took a ride out to a local winery with the wife yesterday. The strategy is to take the backroads pretty easy on the way out and then make sure she has 2 glasses of wine so I can be more aggressive on the way home. Afterwards I cleaned the car up - first wash since coating. I can just dry it...
  20. Do I stay or do I go?

When you say "move-up to something mid-engined" that reference anything but a C8 in a normal market?
