It has the tech package I believe? B&O Stereo as well as carbon fibre dash.
So it's a bit complicated with regards to what I paid, I believe MSRP was 97,000 CAD. I bought a 2018 GT350 for $67,000 with 6000 miles on it, and put another 6000 miles before I traded it in for the R that had 4000...
I think my math is right here but, that should be..
6.35mm or 0.25" LESS clearance in the front and 2.35mm or 0.1" of more clearance in the rear. I think looks wise it would look fine but I'm concerned about the clearance for the brakes/suspension
I've got an opportunity to buy some OEM PP2 wheels with Pilot Sport Cup 2 (305/30/19 square) for an excellent price. I would love to use the PP2 wheels for the street and the CF wheels for the track. Has anybody done this?
The OEM wheel sizes are:
PP2 wheels are:
Yeah thats what I figured you would say. So, there are no 315/30/19 available anywhere near me but it looks like I can get my hands on a pair of 305/30 for the front. Would you reccommend against replacing the front 2 tires and leaving the rear as they are?
The tire shop at the track used one of those plug-patches, where it's about a 1.5" or so circle that secures the plug on the inside of the tire. The nail was about 3" away from the sidewall as well so it was close to not even working to begin with.
As far as the track I go to, it's Canadian...
Oh nice, thanks for that. I actually have some experience running a 255 Trofeo R on a 9" wheel. A 255 Trofeo is more like 265 to be honest. It was a FWD car though and you pretty much want to sacrifice just about anything you can in favour of rotation!
I couldn't find any definitive answer for this so here goes.. Just came home from the track - early - due to a nail puncture on a front tire from the paddock not being cleaned after a weekend event. I was one of 3 guys that went home due to punctures!
My tires are still in good shape overall...
Entranced by the "image".. No. Entranced by the R model itself? You bet.
Competitor? Not as much. Talented track driver? Very much so.
Stupidest sh*t I've read all day. All week even? Probably.
Amazing story. Tell it again
You could have started - and ended -...
He did have ceramic coating, at least. I won't lie it was almost a deal breaker for me until I realized that it's such a small area that's affected, and easy to refinish if I really wanted to. The full front end and rear spoiler will be covered soon though so the important thing is that it...
And no - the bottom most painted part I guess you could say. Underneath the bottom grille and above the splitter. It's a small area that could easily be refinished especially with a colour like shadow black
I can't! It's already custom lol.
Not really. An older gentleman owned it along with some other cars in his collection and it was just too much for him apparently. The brakes still seem new and tire tread doesn't have any indication of being on a track, not recently anyways. Car has under...
Was wondering what the exact colour name/code was for the matte black stripes that come on some GT350R builds, particularly shadow black builds. Reason I ask is, my car came with holes drilled in the bumper for the front plate. I've used bumperplugs.com before and I'd like to order some until I...
My license plate is already "REXAROO" which is our dogs nickname. Who happens to be a black, obnoxious, kind of a pain in the ass to handle but lovable and very, very good boy.
Oh, and my VW Golf R is "BADGOLFR" hehe
