  1. 88mm overbore

Eh, some people have ran them but that's about the max of what you'd want to take out of the factory sleeve for overboring. I don't know that I'd do it if I was wanting to make big power but you'd probably be okay on lower power levels. Also, FWIW, Manley makes a 87.6 mm piston as well. If it...
  2. What tires is everyone using?

Cheap: Federal Evolution F60 Good: Firestones Firehawk Indy 500 Better: Continental ExtremeContact Sport DW Best: Michelin Pilot Sport 4S
  3. Can you put a 15-17 GT muffler on a 2020 GT?

The 15-17 exhaust will fit but it will look odd where the 18+ rear valence is designed for quad tips. Grab an EcoBoost lower rear valence and you should be set to go with the 15-17 exhaust.
  4. 30,000 Mile, No Catch Can Report

It looks like Ford is selling snake oil too. What's up with that!? https://performanceparts.ford.com/part/M-6766-A23 I don't think we can trust them and their engineering anymore. We should probably sell our cars and do so quickly. :giggle:
  5. 2021 Mach 1 Mustang Prototype Spied on The Prowl?!

Thank you, lol. I was going to post comparison pics and show that it's the GT500 valence with the GT500/350 wing. It looks like they're raiding the parts bin. It would be sweet to see an NA Predator (crossplane) in the Mach 1 with some GT500/PP2 parts thrown at it (as would appear to be the...
  6. 2018 Base Mustang - How Do You Enable Drive Modes

    Thanks for posting this update!
  7. Oil Pan Removal/Installation Instructions for BSD

You don't have balance shafts to delete in the Coyote engine. If you're looking for instructions to pulling the Coyote oil pan, then no, it wouldn't be the same.
  8. 684 Hp from 2.3 Ecoboost

For those asking about fueling, Mountune is running a 30% larger XDI HPFP and larger injectors on E30. It is *DI only* making that power, which is impressive.
  9. Air fuel ratio video

That's utterly and completely normal on the stock calibration.
  10. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

FB5Z-6010-B is the newly revised part number. Ford made some minor changes to the deck. But yes, you won't have any worries with this engine block and it will take plenty of power and abuse. Also, it's around $550 + shipping for the -B (newest) revision, so my last order was something like $630...
  11. Upgraded and Rebuilt Stock Turbos

Shoot me a PM with his contact info. I might know a person or two that would be interested in this.
  12. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

The 2.0 FoST block is closed deck. The 2.0 TS (twin scroll) from the Fusion/Escape is semi-closed - similar to the deck of a LS engine. If you're putting this into a Mustang, it makes absolutely ZERO sense to even contemplate using a Duratec block with the amount of work that would be...
  13. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

I’d leave that Duratec idea alone. The deck is going to be slightly different in regards to the oil and coolant passages, there’s no provisions for oil/coolant feed and return, etc. If you want a robust and reliable block then grab a 2.0 twin scroll block out of a 17+ Fusion/Escape. That block...
  14. EB2.3 vs Duratec 2.0/2.3/2.5 Bellshousing bolt pattern

There’s a difference in deck height on the 2.0 Duratec blocks, IIRC. I want to say yes that they should work but it’s been a while since I’ve looked at it.
  15. Texas Turbosmart BOV

I sent you a PM. Check it out and shoot me a message.
  16. Is this hissing really normal?

If you truly want rid of the hissing, get a charge pipe upgrade kit, like the CVF, and run a mechanical BOV. Get the Turbosmart BOV plug thing (can't remember the official name) that tricks the PCM to make it think you're still running the stock valve and it'll work beautifully without the...
  17. Ford Performance selling HPP turbo

The problem with the 2.3 block is the junk casting. The new HPP will have the FoRS block, but even so, it's still limited. I would like to cut a 2.3 for 12 mm studs to see how it would work but I don't foresee it raising the bar much, if any.
  18. Subtle cat back: Magnaflow street VS FP by Borla touring?

I’ve heard every exhaust set up imaginable over the years and Magnaflow has always been at the top for me. The Streets has great tone and volume without being overbearing or obnoxious. The Borla is a good kit too, no doubt, but the Magnaflow has a deeper pitch to it (IMO).
  19. Is this hissing really normal?

The hissing is normal and is in the calibration for a few reasons. If you’re going to keep the stock valve, upgrade to the GFB unit like the others have suggested.
