It's official now... GT350 and GT350R production ends this Fall

Theres not enough volume of sales (aka profit) in these cars to justify building both. I think were going to see a "purists" GT500 on the option sheet next year with the 6-Speed manual, that'll fill the void thats going to make some of us reluctant to but the 500. As for me.. Im not upset that...

I got new shoes .................... (grins)

You hit it on the head when you said you have to pay for it.... generic (aka affordable) wheels from the aftermarket are inferior to the factory wheels in all respects.. and are not going to perform as well as the stockers. The problem is for 99.9% or car owners the upgrade of a $5000 set of...

I got new shoes .................... (grins)

WOW you drive your car :like:. I'll be lucky if I put 3000kms on mine this year... Good choice on sticking with the factory wheels over the miss matched setup. I somehow think ford might know what they're doing when they choose a wheel/tire combo. That said I too would consider replacing my...

I got new shoes .................... (grins)

Didn't mean to offend bud.. just thought Id say the obvious that everyone was thinking. Im all about "to each their own".. but how can you not look at those pics and not see that those wheels/tires look ridiculous on your car?? Im not talking about the wheel style, but the sizing and backspacing...

How do you make your GT350 stand out?

I did the Wicker Bill too.. Was reluctant because I wasn't sure how Id like the "tacked on" look. Then I had a look at the factory wicker bill on my brothers C7GS and realized that the wicker bill IS a tack on so it looks just like its supposed too look.... lol. Anyway, I bought the zl1 add...

I got new shoes .................... (grins)

Hate to say it but those wheels/tires are wrong for the car in all respects. Size, offset, sidewall, wheel pattern (imo) all downgrade the look compared to the stock setup. Not to mention how the handling and performance of the car will be affected...... Discount should take them back; they're...

Noob and new GT350 owner Whipple questions

marine application is totally different, those engines spend most of their lives at high rpms. Bottom line is that on the street you are very hard pressed to spend much time anywhere near redline. If I was auto crossing or even drag racing the car I might be inclined to beef things up.

Noob and new GT350 owner Whipple questions

DO IT! Dasilva Racing did the Whipple on my 2017 gt350. (It was installed on my car before I got it) Tuned to 789RWHP its an absolute beast past 5000rpms.... but at the same time its easy to drive if you keep the revs down. I spoke to Joe regarding the other upgrades that many say are...

Would you trade 350r for F-150

I’m fortunate enough to have both. My daily is a lariat sport. I hate to say it but if I had to choose between the two I’d keep my truck. Driving the Shelby every day would probably make me fall out of love with it,

    Weird Stereo Glitch...

Had a look, pretty cool what can be changed... Id like to eliminate the seatbelt chimes, double horn honk and have the exhaust default to open on start up. Can the dealer do these changes?

    Weird Stereo Glitch...

Yup just pulled down my headliner and theres no mic. Is this something the dealer can disable? I'll look for the forscan sticky... but from what I've seen it looks like it might be over my head lol

    Weird Stereo Glitch...

I bought my 350 used with approx 6000kkms on it and the previous owner upgraded the stereo with an amp and sub off to the side in the trunk. The stereo sounds pretty good but 3 times now I'll get cracking through the pass door speaker.. what's really strange is that the last couple of times it...

    15-20 GT350 Timeless Design

not walking all over mine... 100+ more hp with the whipple and I still have 3 pedals, FPC, and 8250rpms = the ultimate mustang imo. maybe when I get old and can’t push a clutch I’ll look for a gt500...

    Lots-o-Bullitts For Sale

This is one of the reasons I dealt mine. Its disappointing that what was supposed to be a special car, has been overproduced and selling cheaper than a GT. Should have had a limited production run... Id have been extremely angry if I paid 10k over list like so many did. As it is I lost the same...

    Reliability of 5.2 with Whipple

The whine is almost non existent. definitely can't hear it over the exhaust. That sound tube kit looks interesting but $120 is hard to swallow for a piece of hose.....

    BULLITT VS GT350

Clearly the better choice for you... you mean. I posted this to give perspective from someone who’s owned both. And although very much the same car, there are significant differences that will appeal to different buyers. What the better choice is depends on what you want out of your car.

    BULLITT VS GT350

Thought I'd weigh in here for anyone trying to decide between a bullitt and a gt350. I had my 2019 Bullitt for a little over a year and put around 4500 kms on it. I had no intension of dealing it as I was very impressed with the car top to bottom. I stumbled upon a 2017 gt350 in my dealers...

    Reliability of 5.2 with Whipple

I’ve managed A whopping 1500kms so far... plenty of time 8000rpms+. Hasn’t missed a beat, tuned to 789 at the tires on ultra 94. Absolute blast to drive and a still user friendly and drivable if you keep it under 5k rpms. The biggest dilemma is the traction control; leave it on and it’s...
