So I went to get aligned and the tech said it was in spec, so I didn't get charged for the service as inspections are 'free'. He apparently did not even look at the front tires which both look like this at 36k miles. Also here is the printout...which doesn't jive with the tech.
Several questions related to the OP...
Okay, so if I read this correctly, spacers should have no bad effects on alignment, right? Mine are 1" btw.
Also, did I read that not all of the 3 can be adjusted for my car without special replacement parts?
I have wear on the inside of the front left tire...
Just drove up to Sandia Peak yesterday and had a blast...until I got behind a mini suv, for a short time. The climb is from about 5500 feet to 10,500 feet, with lots of tight turns!
Also, down south near the Gila, driving thru the black range is fun.
Here comes the blasphemy...
I went the other way with rear shocks, not the very expensive ones spoke to on this site. The stock rears tend to bounce weird on rebound so I tried the Monroe OESpectrum Monotube Shock Absorber (# 5512) recently and so far, so good. And they use the stock mounts also.
