Okay! we're back in business! I dug out my Surface Tablet and OBDLink MX, downloaded FORScan, ran the Rear Camera Recalibration preset and we're back in business! Thanks!
  2. Replaced backup camera, no longer have zoom/guide lines

Anything I can do on my own with ForScan or something else, or the dealer cost? Car is out of warranty, obviously?
  3. Replaced backup camera, no longer have zoom/guide lines

About a year ago, my 2016 EB started glitching the backup camera video feed (think trying to watch Cinemax after dark as a kid in 1989). The issue came and went, and earlier this year became more constant. I finally purchased a replacement camera, and installed it with little fuss. The problem...
  4. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

Hey you! The USB hub and manual update to get CarPlay was only required for 2016 models - you'll be fine. Both the software and hardware were present in 2017-onwards.
  5. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

It's the Waylens Horizon. I guess it's kind of a "performance dahcam" with OBDII inputs https://waylens.com/horizon/
  6. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

I finally got one in the Mustang last night... because U-Turns are hard...
  7. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

Well... Here's one from yesterday morning... when you decide that a red light just simply not convenient for you...
  8. Close-call thread (Dash Cam)

Not my Mustang (behold the silence of the electric car), but two in one on the way to lunch at work on Friday...
  9. S550 versus 2019 BMW 8 Series

Sounds good, until you remember the reliability of BMW mechanics (unless you pay thousands in yearly maintenance, of course)
  10. S550 versus 2019 BMW 8 Series

Imitation is truly the sincerest form of flattery. I'm not even mad, the S550's shape looks good on the BMW (though It'll probably cost the equivalent of two fully-loaded GTs)
  11. 2018 Push Start Button to 15-17

What flashing? The button is literally just a momentary contact button with an LED for start/stop and another for nighttime illumination...
  12. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

OEM Nav will still have its need until the time mobile data signal covers 100% of the global landscape. Even in Southern California, data can disappear in canyons, mountains, and deserts.
  13. My Ford Touch Browser

Definitely not. Pretty sure Ford's legal department axed that idea quickly.
  14. 2016 Sync 3 and Wireless CarPlay

Wireless CarPlay requires Bluetooth for an initial handshake, and WiFi (in hotspot mode)for an ongoing connection. Based on this article, it sounds like there is a specific chipset or something required to support this interactivity...
  15. 2019 Bullitt Mustang Officially Revealed at NAIAS!

I stand corrected. My argument otherwise still stands. The "history" argument is utter bull. If you want to argue that, there's a wealth of improvements over the past half century to argue "history" over.
  16. 2019 Bullitt Mustang Officially Revealed at NAIAS!

Past "Bullitt" vehicles have come with an optional auto. History is subjective. and Yes, it is Ford Performance. Fiesta ST. Focus ST. Focus RS. Shelby GT350.
  17. 2019 Bullitt Mustang Officially Revealed at NAIAS!

The original didn't have a radio, either. What's your point?
  18. 2019 Bullitt Mustang Officially Revealed at NAIAS!

It still really pisses me off that Ford Performance keeps on with this "performance vehicles can't have automatics" BS attitude. Pretty sure I'm not going to get another Ford after this. Even the Camaro ZL1 offers an auto.
  19. NEW SYNC 3.0 Build 20204 Nav Android Auto/Apple Carplay

It would seem we will now have to wait until Ford deems us worthy of 3.2... so... probably Late 2037.
