Not anymore. I use too a year ago. After the 2nd purge valve replacement I started not topping off, stop when the pump clicked off. Only problem with that is different gas stations click off at different amounts. So 4 months ago and 5 purge valves in I started trying to cut the pump off before...

It's a shame Ford isn't trying to fix what is clearly a manufacturer's defective part with a permanent solution.

I started not going pass the initial pump shut off, the valve still went bad. I'm trying to only fill to 3/4 tank and see how long this new valve last. I'm thinking about also weekly cleaning 🤔

Is there a solution to the constant failure of the evap canister purge valve other than keep replacing them?
